Miss my accent

I upgraded from an accent which I loved. I love all the features I have in my elantra such as Bluetooth and remote start but I feel as though this doesn't ride as nice and quiet. I also feel as though this is not as good on gas. Overall It is an ok car.

Small but good car

After driving our Elantra GT for 6 months, we wish we had a bit larger car. We were NOT rushed or pressured by sales rep, and performance of auto is excellent - just somewhat difficult for my wife getting in and out.

Okay

The car has a lot of get up and go but it comes at a cost. For being a smaller car I am very surprised that the gas mileage is so low. I think I’m going to have to get my third Hyundai but it will have to be a little bit more off the ground like a Tucson. I was a little disappointed by the Kona only because it’s not very high off the ground.

The only thing i have to say is. The trim around my Windows The pant is fading. For being a new. Plus ac has never work right . That upsets. Me a lot. The guy sold the car to me said it was surpose to be like that. I dont know qhy lied to me.

Needs improvement!

Suspension is too rough. Muffler is too loose, and when you drive over a rough area, a bump or a hole, the muffler hits the side of adjacent areas and makes noise. Seems like they need to improve on the smoothness of the ride of this car. On suspension.

Wish I Could Upgrade...this Car Has No Power

I bought this car brand new in 2016. At the time I thought the looks were sporty and has some room for upgrades. Not to mention power...should have realized that during test drive. But I was so excited in buying a new car I'm sure I overlooked it. Fast forward to 2019 and ive noticed over the years this car lacks power. This is the base model but some minivans and other vehicles seem to have more power than my car Doing an upgrade will be pricey so I have to live with it. Anyways you can do better with the newer models.

It’s not the Sante Fe

I’ve driven Santa Fe’s for over 10 years. This time due to price and wanting to add an extended warranty I was convinced to give the Elantra a try . I’m not happy nor enjoying this car. It’s small ; low to the ground; doesn’t have the pick up or power I was told it would I already need an axle and cabin filter less than a year into owning it! My Santa Fe’s literally never had problems - just standard brakes; oil changes etc.

Yearly issues

I purchased the car about 3 years ago and every year I have had a major issue that is luckily under warranty. First year the car wouldn’t start and had to be towed from my job to the dealership, the only way to fix the issue was for Poway Hyundai to have the manufacturer send a new computer system. 2nd year my Cadillac converter needed to be replaced. 3rd year engine assembly replacement with no explanation on why it happened.

Best warranty on any vehicle in America! Gas mileage is exactly as reported and extras are fantastic! Hyundai of Florence, Best dealer in SC Greatest personnel, especially in the maintenance area would not buy anywhere else

The car is unreliable and it stalls. Horrible engine design.

The car does not give you warning when it stalls. Very hard to find the problem. The dealership couldn't even figure out what was wrong with the car. It took 3 times of taking the car in to figure out the issue.
