Genesis Coupe Review...
I love my car. I will say there are some things that I would change. # 1 I purchased it from Hyundai in Hendersonville used and they covered up a paint issue on the car and when I went back and confronted them about it they denied it. Of course, I took it to the Hyundai in Downtown and the body guy said yes they covered it up but we have no proof. I have had to deal with that issue at my expense. Very disappointed! Then that same dealership was ordering me tires and I had to prepay for them so they could order. I did and guess what... the day they had scheduled for me to come in I showed up but the tires did not and I even called in advance to make sure they were there, they said they were, and waited in lobby for over an hour before they came out and said the tires were not there! I was LIVID! They are over an hour away from me and my time is valuable!
The dealership downtown has been fabulous! Honest, Quick, straight forward!
As far as the car, I would like if they had not put such cheap leather in the car, the drivers seat is very worn where I get in and out all day. The handle on the door is flaking from me having to open and close the car door and I see the steering wheel starting to look the same way. That should have just been leather or the same material as the door. There should be a backup camera! I mean really that should be standard not any kind of upgrade. There are two USB ports that I have tried to use for music or charging and have yet to figure those out. I guess I should ask one day when I am in for service. The back seat, if they had of pushed the back glass up just a few inches an adult could seat back there comfortably. Now the adult has to sit sideways or crouch down so their head won't hit the glass. I do wish the passenger mirror adjusted downwards when you put the car in reverse. It would make it easier on parallel parking.
Overall, the performance of the car is great! There are some cosmetic items I would change if I was designing the car. I would purchase another one with some upgrades or if some changes were made.
