My Genesis Coupe

I'm 68 years old and have owned a lot of cars and my Genesis Coupe is by far the best car I've ever owned. In the past few years all I had to do was have the oil changed and put gas in it never had any problems with it

Great Car.

I treated myself to a sports car when I retired. Love the Genesis coupe. Rides good for a sports car. Handles great. The power is so impressive. Best value for the money. Have it serviced at Roseville Hyundai in Roseville, CA, Great Dealership.

Hyundai Genesis Ultimate coupe

The coupe is fantastic, it handles like a dream. The acceleration is great, the sound system in wonderful. I never had a car that handled as good as the genesis coupe does.. I only drive it in the spring, summer and fall when the snow is gone along with the salt. This car will never see snow or salt.

Most fun I've ever had driving

I love my Genesis Coupe. It's peppy and handles great. The design is sleek and the exhaust has a nice little growl. Being able to go from automatic to "manual" transmission is fun. Interior is roomy up front, but the backseat is good for carrying your purse and umbrella. Forget about passengers for anything more than a short jaunt. I'd seen a few people complaining about the traction in snow/rain, being that it's rear wheel drive. That made me a little leery about the purchase, but I'd had RWD cars before, so I didn't let it put me off. I'm glad I didn't. I'm convinced those people just didn't know how to handle a RWD vehicle. I live in Ohio and as long as I use winter tires when the snow flies (and we don't get a foot of snow) and don't drive like an idiot, I don't have any problems driving in inclement weather. So, don't let the RWD aspect scare you. I was really sad to hear that 2016 was the last year that Hyundai was making the Genesis Coupe. That's the reason I finally pushed the buy button, even though I'd been wanting one for years. My hope is that they'll rethink that decision in the future. Until then, I'll just enjoy my 2016.

HYUNDAI GENESIS ULTIMATE THE BEST

I love everything about my HGU. It is everything I wanted after researching sports cars for a year before buying. It handles perfect, great gas mileage, looks beautiful, comfortable, has all amenities except for back up camera which for me is no biggie. I reccomend trying out. My decision was narrowed to HGU and Camaro and in the end the HGU won. The warranty is a winner with 10yr/100,000.

One of the best cars I’ve owned!

I had a 2010 Genesis Coupe, and liked it so much I wanted a 2017 and then was disappointed to find out that Genesis had tabled an updated coupe due to changing customer preferences, so I had Great Lakes Hyundai find me a new 2016 Genesis Coupe. Rear wheel drive, plenty of power, great looks and great fun to drive - I would know - 43 years of driving, hundreds of thousands of miles, and many, many cars and trucks.

2016 Genesis Coupe

I bought this car from Tuttle Click Hyundai in Irvine Ca. with 7,700 miles on it. I had taken my Elantra in for an oil change and saw this on the front line. I figured this had fresh oil in it and decided to buy it. This trim had the 3.8 engine mated to an 8 speed automatic. I can tell you the car has been flawless since I have owned it. Very good power, very good driving characteristics with a very solid feel. This will do just fine until Genesis releases the new Coupe in the next couple years.

Dream car

This caris a dream to drive. It responds effortlessly in city driving , as well as on country roads. Stops smoothly, accelerates at just a touch. Honestly, I call it my happy place. W hen I get in my beautiful little coupe, I am so happy. My only question is, why did they stop making this Genesis coupe? It is a wonderful car in every aspect. Very comfortable for two. Drives great, huge trunk, great gas mileage, easy to maintain!

Great Sports Car - My First Sports Car

This is my 5th Hyundai vehicle - 4 were sedans and this is my first sports car. At first I thought it would be too small but, the overall seating areas and trunk space is very spacious! I have had this car now 19 months and am still enjoying the ride!!! Love the look, love the features and the styling is hard to beat. Thank you Hyundai!!!

Sweet sportscar.

I wanted a car with the power to accelerate quickly on the insanely congested roads in the NOVA area. My fiancee found this 2016 Genesis Coupe at Brown's Manassas Hyundai, a dealership he has happily dealt with for years. Being a female car fanatic, the horsepower of the 3.8L 6-cylinder engine sold me. Not to mention that the car is very sexy. She is well engineered, comfortable, and always fun to drive. Aggressive and great in the turns, the low profile, wide footprint make this little beast stable and excessively capable on the straightaways. The market was not flooded with this coupe, so they are very unusual and not seen everywhere, like the tired, mass-produced competition. I adore this car, and enjoy every day with her. She's hot!!!

great performance, handling, and road feel at any speed. disappointed that I have had so many window/door problems. I purchased the last year that the vehicle was made, and I am happy to have purchased a coupe with a manual transmission.

Love the Car. Bad Dealership. We were looking for an inexpensive alternative for an everyday driver, tired of not enjoying the drive because of great expense of repairing our other Vehicles. The Genesis Coupe is a fun car to drive, better performance than V6 Camaro and Mustang. Great car for the price. Hope Hyundai/Genesis will bring another 2 door performance coupe to market soon. Would definitely buy again.

Kicks Ass

I had a Sonata first. When I saw the Genesis coup I fell on love with it. It is a 3.8 and really preforms. I used to drive Nissan Z's but the Genesis coup is much better inside and outside. The only thing I really liked about the Z was the T-tops. But the Genesis preforms better. Over all better quality and value.

Great car.

The car is extremely stable and confident at high speeds and feel safe and secure with the handling. The 3.8 v6 is outstanding. The ride is as expected from a two door sports coupe and wouldn’t have it any other way. Just wish it had positive traction two both rear wheels, which would improve the handling in snow. Other than that it’s just awesome to drive. The paddle shifters make it fun to drive also. Just love this car so much.

Love it!!

I love the exterior and interior design as well as the driving / road performance. It’s like driving a European model sports car . Enough 348HP to get from 0 to 60 when I have to make a point to someone who thinks they have it going on in their “wanna be a sports car too ” vehicle! Geni’s my “JOY” toy! Love it !!!
