I LOVE MY CAR!!

I absolutely adore my car! It's everything I was looking for and more. I was extremely set on finding a four door, spacious car, with bluetooth, and a sunroof with great mileage. Barry was my salesman and was able to find me all that along with extra perks like a backup camera and seat heaters. He was very patient and friendly! I came back 3 times before buying but I knew this was the one once we found it! This is the best car I've ever had and I'm so grateful to Hyundai and their employees!

Lemon Car

I’ve had nothing but issues with my car since I drive it off the lot. I purchased it with zero miles brand new and the first year I had the car it wouldn’t start 3 different times. The push start kept going out, amongst so many other issues. I’m constantly taking it to my mechanic for different fixings. So much, that he talks about how poor quality of car I have and I should’ve taken it back. It is not reliable at all, and there’s always a recall in my vehicle as well. The last recall expletive I had was horrible. Hyundai in Rockwall gave me the run around because they didn’t want to replace the engine which was a recall and then months later had issues with the engine. I’ve had too many experiences to write down. I will never purchase another Hyundai vehicle and I wouldn’t recommend it anyone except for an enemy.

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

I love this car. I was only supposed to drive this car for a couple of months and then it was supposed to become my husband’s car; but I liked driving it so much that I decided to keep it for myself. It’s reliable,comfortable, pretty, and I’ve never had anything major wrong with it in seven and a half years.

Sonata in Maine

I bought my Sonata in January 2011. Right away I noticed it was not a vehicle made for snow, a fact I overlooked when I bought it. I needed snow tires immediately after dislodging a fender in a snow bank. Eventually both genders were pulled away from the car body, only repairable by replacing the fender. In addition, backing up is difficult as there is a “blind spot” in the rear view. Yes, the rear fender has been damaged too. Other than these issues, this car will last forever. It runs smoothly and handles well in general. I expect to own it for a long long time.

2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T

I looked at a Hyundai Sonata previously, but ended up buying a Mazda Millennia. The Sonata made such an impact on me that I went back and I liked it so much that I bought one. This is the 2011 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T and I didn't realize what a special cat this was. The 274hp is incredible. It really had a lot of "get up and go". I was sad to learn that the newer Hyundai Sonata Turbos have 29 fewer horsepower - and that's noticable. I hope they bring back the 274 pony version.

Superior Automobile

My husband and I purchased this 2011 Hyundai Sonata in August 2013. It had a little of 70K miles and it now has over 168K. We have performed routine maintenance and the car has been great. It has given no problems. Comfortable ride although we live on bad country roads. It is easy to drive and gets good gas mileage. It averages about 32 miles to a gallon. I would purchase another Sonata or one of the other Hyundai models.

Garbage vehicle

I have a 2011 Sonata car has had several recalls including the motor needing replaced, as well as several seat belt and air bag issues, a steering issue with the electronic unit, so far 5 recalls and another one is being issued end of February. The paint on this car is pealing off as well. Hyundai needs to issue new vehicles or some type of compensation for all the inconveniences of constantly taking car to the dealership

Hyundai Sonata Review

I bought my Sonata used with 32,000 miles on it. I drove it to 184,000 miles before the engine went bad. I had a new engine put in it and now it is at 233,000 miles. I feel like I got my money's worth out of it. It has good speed and handles well in the snow. It has been reliable. It has a nice look and still looks after the miles I've put on it. I have had some mild touch-ups done to the body.

They did put two new engines in the car for free

Our 2011 has had two new engines put in it. The driver window push button does not work right. The rest of the car is good with no problems. They did put two new engines in the car for free. I hope this new engine will be a good one and last a long time

Love my Sonata

My Sonata has proven to have seen me through rain, sleet, snow and extreme cold weather. I have driven past many cars that were waiting for a tow , but I never saw a Sonata on the side of the road. I believe my Sonata has been good to me because of the excellent care it gets from the service people to the mechanics . Be good to your Hyundai vehicle by taking it in for its regular maintenance and it will be good for a very long time . LOVE MY HYUNDAI !!!

Quality below par

This vehicle has been recalled or repaired for a Hyundai campaign in excess of ten times. It is totally unacceptable to me to have to waste my time driving to and from the dealership for repairs. (It is 45 minutes each way with no traffic) and then sit there while the repair is being made. Also, the steering feel and chassis tuning are horrible. Driving on a flat straight road is acceptable but on central coast California ‘s curvy mountainous roads the lackluster steering and body sway make this car very unpleasant to drive.

Lousy mileage in town

Comfortable car, holds enough. Lied about mileage for city driving. Too low in the front for curbs, and is all scratched up under front bumper. If you catch the seat belt in the door, the horn goes off in the middle of the night and annoys the neighbors.

2011 Sonata

Overall, this car has been satisfactory. But it is unlikely I will purchase another Sonata based on my experience with this one. We have had to have significant repair done to this vehicle, both under warranty and outside of warranty. These included replacing the engine, the coolant manifold, suspension control arms, and some electrical components. We also had an incident where the tail light assembly fell out while driving, only being attached by the electrical wiring. This should never happen to a vehicle that has not been damaged. With about 120K miles, these repairs are excessive in my opinion.

Everything I want in a vehicle.

This car is roomy and comfy. There is room for 5. The look is sporty and cute, and the car is a great performer. I am happy with the gas mileage and the way it deftly handles curves. I enjoy the keyless entry and the push button start.

Two Hundred Thousand Plus Miles and Still Going

This car has been awesome. I love the style, color and performance. It is the perfect midsize car. I love to travel so my car has been as far north as New Jersey and as far south as Key West. Buy one for fun and dependability.

We purchased the vehicle in Texas. Moved back to California two years ago. The car has been serviced by Hyundai even on road trips. One word comes to mind Dependable . This is the most comfortable vehicles I have ever driven. We will keep this car for a long time

I ,m not happy with my 2011 Sonata , I have had too many recalls on this car , but they do take care of what has to be done and I thank you for that . Maybe the 2011 sonata was just bad year for Hyundai .

Super on gas, miserable on rear window

I love my Lady Pearl (so-named because the soft golden yellow color is called Camel Pearl...of all the revolting names!) but the car's a real lady. Just don't put those silly eyelashes on her because they flap the finish off the paint!! I would award a 5 but the back window is sooo miserable in inclement weather I took off 2 points. The angle of the window is not given to shedding rain or snow so it collects and dangerously impedes the back vision--even with RainX applied. Nasty that!! The mileage is terrific--even with my lead-footed driving. The seats are comfy, although the front passenger seat sits very low. Outside sounds are sufficiently blocked to be able to hear passengers without straining. The heating/AC system is powerful and comes on quickly and quietly. Sound system is reasonably adequate, but I wish I could back up 30 seconds rather than having to return to the previous chapter on audio CDs. All-in-all, Lady Pearl is attractive, reliable, and comfortable to drive--and should be so for many more years to come.
