Mostly satisfied

2020 sonata is a 4.5 in my opinion, fuel mileage hwy definitely is not as advertised. Designed beautifully, but had I been informed the the tire selection used for the 1.7lt model was made for performance not endurance. And that is a statement directly made by the tire manufacturer themselves, 17500 miles and need new tires all four wore evenly so not a mechanical error and received service as required, including rotation.

Sporty Fun Sonata!

I saw the 2020 Hyundai Sport at the car show in Cleveland and loved it and leased it...it’s a beauty!! This is my second Hyundai Sonata Sport!! Louvres as an add on accessory would add to the sleekness of the design.

Perfect-Except 1.6T is WAY underpowered

If you still like sedans this one is worth a look, the 1.6T is a real let down in performance....should have been a deal breaker for me....thought I'd get over it...but...haven't...previous 2.0T was SOOO much better!! I'd say get the N-Line with 2.5T or PASS!!

Beautiful car

My 2020 Sonata is making a weird noises in the Driver’s side door like Chirping birds, especially when driving on freeway which is so annoying, I don’t know how can I get rid of it. I am not getting MPEG as claimed by the company. In the other hand I like the interior and exterior

like the new car overall

it rides nice looks good gets good gas mileage just dont like the shift with push buttons it is not like a real lever does not respond like it should moves much to slowly between forward and reverse i live on a very busy road and dont have time for a computer to decide how long it takes to shift to forward i almost got hit 3 times out front waiting for the car to finally respond after i pushed drive 3 times other than that love the car but u made a big mistake using push button shift

Always like the Sonata

The Sonata has a very comfortable ride, It has a lot of safety features which contributed to my decision to get a Sonata. I enjoy using the Android Auto for the GPS. Also the Bluetooth phone usage is very easy and love the controls on the steering wheel. Also the push button Automatic Transmission is easy to get used to.

Great Sonata but very noisy

The new Sonata comes with great features. However, when traveling at speeds of 60 mph or more, the passenger side becomes very noisy. Sounds like a tornado or hair drying blowing. This is my 4th Sonata and I miss the eyeglass holder as it was a great place to hold sun glasses. In addition, there is no height adjustment on the passenger side of the car so if you are short, it feels like you are sitting in a hole

2020 sonata

I love my car but the front end is to low to the ground and I believe for 29k it should have a moon roof Other than that its perfect for me. The trunk is large and the seats are comfortable. I took it on a trip 1200 miles one way and it was great no issues and great gas mileage

Great Features

My last vehicle was a challenger, and although I miss the giddy up, the features in that come stock in this car blow the challenger away! Comfortable and very easy to drive. My wife is a new driver and feels safer and much more comfortable in the Sonata.

2020 sonata

I love this car better than a hybrid its got all the features you can ask for in a car except it won't work on i pod and no free trial of xm radio. Have the stop and go feature never use it really don't need it. How can you save gas shutting off at stop signs. Nothing else to say about it only best car to have for traveling along ways.

Handsome car but strange software and dashboard design.

It drives well, and it's reliable--two factors that are most important. In addition, I love the way it looks: good styling, and I'm getting used to the push-button gear shift. I have some problem with figuring out the software and using the manual, neither of which is intuitive. I could also live without the various icons and sounds that I have to look up, as well as the continuing email notifications of an unlocked back door, which I corrected within minutes of the first notification a week ago!

Good car, poor quality control

Dent in passenger door, run in paint, foreign object in hood paint. Bought the car for the tech features, and was not disappointed. Other than quality issues it has been a solid car to own and drive!!

Great vehicle with great milage.

Great vehicle so far, lots of extras for a great price. The only things that I don't like about it is that there's no way to down shift while going down hill so you don't ride the brakes, The push buttons also need to be on the dash so liquid can't be spilled in them. There is no mechanical door locks so if the battery fails you can unlock it. Talked to my salesman, he told me the drivers door automatically unlocks during a power failure. Everyone else in the car needs to crawl out the drivers door. Other than that It's been a great car, great mileage, lots of leg room, comfortable seats.

Will Be An Awesome Car When All Of The Kinks Are Worked Out

Super on safety. No Blue Link available in basic model unlike previous years. Water leaks around rear doors and collects between bottom of door and frame then pours out onto your feet upon opening. Could be due to either a problem with the seal or a design flaw. Motor stalls periodically during acceleration. Shakes and rough idles from time to time. More times than not, when key is inserted and turned to engage start of motor, there is pause as if it isn't going to start. Seats are not the most comfortable for extended trips - back seats are not for comfortable at all. Fuel door opens on it's on periodically. Impossible to keep touch screen clean.

treat all buyers the same early and later buyers unlikey to buy a new one because of bad reponse from your company concering the free mantinace and oil changes to early buyers i will like your cars but do not like the way i was treated

Happy so far!

Overall I am happy with this vehicle so far. Only a few minor problems with some noise. I don't have a lot of miles on the vehicle yet because of Covid pandemic but so far I am happy with it. Time will tell.

2020 Sonata limited

Love the redesign of the body however interior was changed from gear shifter to button shifters - not my favorite. Plus they removed the fancy interior trim which was in the 2018 and added paddle shifters which in my opinion was not necessary — I almost bought an accord. If shifter doesn’t come back in future redesign I will look at Honda, Toyota or Lexus!
