The worst new car I have ever owned

This car is unstable and unreliable. Its maneuverability is inconsistent - it does not respond as it should. The electronic locks are horrible, and the AC system does what it wants. Every time I change the settings, it does not respond to what I want, which is to mostly avoid external ari from coming in. It keeps clicking back on it's own. I cannot open the passenger door manually if the key is in the car. It once locked me out - WITH THE KEY INSIDE AND ALL OF MY BELONGINGS WHILE IT WAS ON! The radio system sounds horrible and cheap. The ONLY thing I like is the pretty dashboard. I am very disappointed and will be changing cars, and most likely brands, very soon. By the way - this is my second Sonata. I wanted the same model, but the salesperson pushed me into a new car. I HATE IT! This new car even looks ordinary - you changed the style to look like any Kia, Honda, or other car that is similar. Now all cars look alike, Sonatas added. The old version of the Sonata got me many compliments. The car does not even steer like my old Sonata. It is clunky and not so smooth for a sedan. Lets not even addressed the OVERPRICING.

N-Line

The N-Line runs smooth. The turbo comes in handy and is quick! All the bells and whistles are superior! Please add the turn signal blind spot camera in the dash like the Palisade. My daughter has a 2023 Palisade and has them. I would expect the 2025 N-Line to have them.

Features, nice interior, loud knocky engine, cheap feeling.

I really like the interior design and tech features of the Sonata N Line, it feels upscale and comfortable for the price point. The infotainment system is intuitive, the digital cluster and touchscreen look great, and the Hyundai phone app is super convenient for remote start, climate control, and checking the car’s status. Overall, the car feels modern and well thought-out from a tech standpoint. That said, there are a few things that take away from the experience. The engine sounds a bit rough and “knocky” at times, especially under light acceleration or idling, which can be disappointing for a sport-tuned model. The transmission also feels inconsistent, sometimes it shifts up too early or almost feels like it’s slipping, which takes away from the confident, sporty feel you’d expect from an N Line. The suspension setup is firmer than a standard Sonata, which helps cornering, but it’s not the kind of DCT or sport suspension you’d expect in a true performance car, it’s somewhere in between comfort and sport, and not as engaging as it looks on paper. Another frustration: the brakes started making noise at around 2,500 miles, which is surprising for a new vehicle. It’s not a safety issue, but definitely irritating to hear on a car marketed for sporty performance. Overall, I’d say the Sonata N Line has great tech, comfort, and design, but the mechanical refinement doesn’t quite match the sporty branding. It’s a solid daily driver with fun potential, just not a full on sports sedan.

Accessory mode not happy

Three times it happened had no idea my car was in accessory mode. Go to start the car press the break is in lock position couldn’t get the car at accessory mode. Hate that function.
