Proud to Own My Second Hyundai Tucson

I really like the Hyundai Tucson. This is my second Tucson, and I continue to be very satisfied with the vehicle. I trust Hyundai as a brand because of its reliability, comfort, technology, and overall quality. I plan to stay with Hyundai because they make great vehicles and have earned my confidence.

Nice, but not what it was.

As the tech improves, the essence of driving is lost. I don't feel the same connection to the vehicle that I did in previous models. Nobody seems to understand that drivers don't necessarily want all the new tech features. Too much going on. Too many lights, and dings, alerts etc. The display panel is way to convulted and takes way too much time to go through it all and understand what everything does. 90% of the features never get used. Simple is better people! Don't keep adding features just for the sake of adding something new. All it does is drive up the cost. The value for the price is lost.

2026 Hyundai Tucson Wind Noise

The road noise when on highways (above 50, for example) is UNACCEPTABLE for anything other than an 30-year old work truck. Completely ruins what used to be an enjoyable activity: road trips. I traded my 15-year old Subaru Forester for this car and it had NO wind noise. I've only had the car 2 months but will likely trade if I can find a new car that still is built well. I'd rather have a quiet interior with less bells and whistles, and have my time on the road be a pleasant time. I think some car makers have forgotten that cars are for driving.

It's OK but NOT great

The different trims and accessories are somewhat confusing in that my car is a select premium trim however what one would expect to get in a premium is not included until a Limited trim is purchased. In addition, there are lots of add ons that one can be purchased in-between the premium and the limited. Also, the driving assist function is very unfriendly and feels like a slap on the wrist for simply coming close or just barely touching close to the lane. It also goes off when someone passes me when I don't have a blinker going, I turned it off and don't intend to ever use it. Like I said it comes up short in many categories. Probably won't ever buy a Hyundai again.

It’s perfect, except for the rear seat space.

Its compact size allows for good speed and agility. As a 2026 model, it is packed with various features; it is better suited for personal use—such as commuting or long-distance driving—rather than as a family vehicle. However, there are occasional issues with the screen system, such as the fuel level display disappearing from the dashboard or Siri failing to play music. Additionally, the air conditioning takes a long time to reach the back seats, and the rear seating area is too cramped for spending time comfortably.

Love my Tucson!!

The Tucson is a reliable and safe vehicle. My daughter was driving our Tucson and another driver hit her running a red light. She was only slightly injured. The car looked really bad, sadly it was totaled. After this incident I realized just how well built this vehicle is.

Good but not the best

I think my Tuscon has too much technology its difficult to navigate reset buttons for trip odometers, lane change alerts are frustratingly annoying. I have have had quite a few Hyundai's and I am sad to say this one is a big disappoint.
