Bring back Vera Cruz

Our 2008 Vera Cruz has been a perfect combo of easy handling and surprisingly ample cargo carrying space. Just needs navigation and safety equipment updates. Interior cargo space in Tucson is just a little smaller and Santa Fe XL feels too much like a truck for our comfort. Veracruz was perfect for us.

Awesome Veracruz

I have a 2008 Veracruz with 235,000 miles and it still get 19 mpg overall. It runs like a scared rabbit and is super dependable. I really like this car's comfort and performance. My goals is 300,000 miles before I purchase my next Hyundai.

What good is a good engine and transmission when the interior is cheaply made?

No wonder they don't make this model any more. Moulding fell off door several weeks after purchase, was replaced under warranty, has never been right since. CD player broke. all interior door handles broke. (Had to replace them myself.) Windshield wiper motor broke in the rain ($600.00 repair-thankfully I fixed it.

My wife has a 2008 Veracruz and she loves it. We take care of it and it's in great shape. 106K and still going strong. It's a shame that it's no longer in production. We are not sure what to buy next when we are ready for a new SUV..

I love this car.

I bought this car new and love it. Everyone who rides with me says "What a nice car?" When it was in a fender bender I insisted the insurance company repair it even thought it is over 10 years old. There are a few things I would like different but overall it a very versatile vehicle.

Hyundai Veracruz GLS AWD

We love this car. I always wanted extra power because my other car had 140HP. An upgrade to 260HP is too much - I dont know what to do with it. Well I do, - sometimes I floor it and need to go and it is amazing! Quiet motor great clearance for the snow. But please note that you cannot use snow chains - you need studded tires. The negative is that shes thirsty in city (I floor it and use my 260 horses - so that's on me). Also, there is little space when the 3rd row is up - that's challenging if you have a cooler box or any luggage. Otherwise great SUV.

Best SUV Ever !!

We will never give Our 2008 Vera Cruz Up unless we pass it on to a Family Member !! Heart Broken that Hyundai stopped making this Model !! We look around to see if someone trades one in with Low Mileage and in the same condition as ours and we would probably purchase it for another family member. We purchased a 2017 Santa Fe Sport which we like but it would have been another Vera Cruz if they were still producing them !!

I love my Vera Cruz but sad that they are not making it anymore! When I first saw it, I love the style & it is very spacious & the special features including the Bluetooth especially for while I’m driving.

2008 Veracruz keeps running like a top

Altho it is maintained slightly better than the book recommendations, it has been very reliable and comfortable. All the gizmos still work. Fuel economy is the same as when purchased new. Hyundai probably will hate this, but I hope it goes another 10 years!

Love the Vera Cruz. Was disappointed that manufacture ceased after only 2 years.

This car had all the bells and whistles. I am especially impressed with the feature that allows the headlights to turn off automatically after the car is stopped and the key is removed from the ignition.

I luv this car

I love this car!!! almost 200,000 miles on it and i wish I could keep forever. I cant find another car with so much room with the great gas mileage.Used this car for business and is very dependable in picking up clients.

Poor engineering and reliability

Stay away from Hyundai. You get what you pay for. We are on our 3rd Alternator and this one is covered with oil and could go any day. The engine design has an oil reservoir pan directly over the alternator. The pan has fasteners facing down, so even with the gaskets over the fasteners being replaced multiple times via recall, they still leak on the alternator. Hyundai only replaces the gaskets once and never paid to replace the alternators. Drives side door handle broke, gaskets on the back doors fall off, the paint chips if you touch it. DVD player goes out because the wiring is wearing out when the tv is opened.

I love my Hyundai Vera Cruz. It serves my needs & very spacious! Hyundai doesn’t make the Vera Cruz anymore. It rides so comfortable & I won’t give it up & also I only have 40,000+ miles (2008). I am very pleased!!

Vera Cruz

I have had my Vera Cruz for 10 yrs with almost 200,000 miles on the car. I wish this model was still in production as i would purchase another one. It has everything I need for comfort and space. I am hoping it lasts me at least another 2 years.

2008 Hyundai Veracruz

I have driven this vehicle from coast to coast plus many times to Phoenix and San Diego, still love it. The Veracruz is mostly driven on trips. Don't have high mileage because we are retired and have 2 vehicles. I feel that Hyundai never advertised it enough. Then, when it didn't sell well, they dropped it. Seven passenger, 263 horse power. Just great! Did I hear someone say Palisade?

If they had a new Vera Cruz which they no longer make, i would buy another one without hesitation. It has been an awesome vehicle and I have 191,000 miles on my present one. We bought this vehicle used which was best purchase we made.

The Veracruz is a Great SUV !! I would buy another one ASAP if they were Produced Again!! Your Missing out on what I believe would be Massive Sales. Comfortable, plenty of room, with all the Bells , Whistles and Horns !! Santa Fe is good but nothing like the Veracruz!!

The finest automobile I've ever owned.

I'm sad that the Veracruz is no longer produced at Hyundai. It has all the class and luxury of the big sticker cars PLUS reliability. It has the lines of todays models and is often mistaken for a new vehicle. I've driven Hyundai exclusively for more than 15 years.

Best car i have ever had!

Drives and handĺes like a dream, has never let me down and has 3rd row seating if I need it. A solid suv! No nickel and dime repairs needed. A well built vehicle. Large enough to carry 7 passengers or large boxes.
