So far, exactly what I expected...

...which is a very good thing. Just crossed 12,000 miles with no issues. EyeSight is a little touchy at times, warning me about not-quite-eradicated lines on pavement in construction zones, for example, but it's an evolving technology. As expected, the only issue is with the radio/entertainment system, but I knew about that going in from the Consumer Reports review. Great

Couldn’t be more happier. Great safety features and great vision on all sides of the car. Love eyesight, the rear view cameras and the heated seats. Interior is roomy and plenty of space for passengers in front and rear. Great car.

Best car I ever owned.

Comfortable with good vision. Easy to get in an out of. The safety features and cruise control are amazing. Back up warning and blind spots warnings are such terrific features. I really love this car.

Love my Forester!

This is my first Subaru and I will never own any other type of vehicle. I feel so comfortable and safe driving this vehicle no matter the weather conditions....heavy snow or a rain downpour this car goes through it like a hot knife through butter....I am hooked on Subaru!!!! The only negative comment I can make is I wish I had a trunk release inside my Forester, but I have the basic model.

My thoughts on my 2018 Forester

Have had quite a few new cars and this one ranks right up there as one of the best. However, there are a few things I think Subaru should consider changing. 1) This is the most important, IMO. Reduce the time it takes for the temperature light to go out and the RPMs to drop down before you are supposed to put the car in gear. My car takes over 2-3 minutes! 2) Install a temperature gauge on the dash.

I switched!

For over 50 years I drove VW's and loved them, but two years ago when I needed a new car I bought my Subaru Forester and couldn't be happier. I was used to a peppy, fun car to drive and worried that the Forester wouldn't add up but it has exceeded my expectations and I am now a loyal Subaru owner. And the car holds a lots including a big crate in the rear for my dogs, with lots of room leftover in the middle seat. And the added benefit of it being very safe in the snow is fabulous. I recommend Subaru's highly.

My 2018 Subaru Forester

In the past I have been a die-hard Honda Pilot person (along with other vehicles that I won't even mention!!). I'm so PLEASED that I switched to the Subaru Forester (based upon Consumer Reports reviews and recommendations, plus a good friend who has a 2017 Forester.
