The Car of My Dreams

Let's keep in mind I've only had the car for a half day so I don't know how much insight I can give. That said, before I went car shopping I did my homework and found that Consumer Reports rates the 2021 Forester #1 in its class. This covers road tests, safety, reliability and much more. The IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety) could not rate it higher, in fact it is one of their Top Safety Pick Plus. It is very comfortable, has a great field of vision, and fun to drive. Much of the dashboard is familiar because my last car was a Subaru but what is new for me is very intuitive. Another reason for my pick is that many small SUVs are getting larger and larger, including what I would say are competitors in the Forester class: Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV-4. I had a CR-V back in the day and in my opinion it was a perfect size, but no longer. The Forester is a good size outside and there is a lot of interior room. The Forester is by no means small; it is a lot of car but hasn't crept into what now should be the large SUV category. Did I mention "new car smell"? Ahhhh, better than Chanel No. 5

LOVE my 2021 Forester!!!

We LOVE our 2021 Forester! It handles Beautifully, very responsive, with tight steering, and much more power than our 2017 Outback, the Forester is also much more quiet, with much better suspension. The larger windows allow greater viability, while the higher ceiling space gives you a feeling of a larger vehicle. If you love to "drive", then you need to get the 2021 Forester!!!

Subaru wasn't even on my radar...

When I started car shopping for a small SUV, the Forester wasn't even on my radar. My husband actually suggested we go check one out, and I went in with the mindset that I'd test drive one to eliminate it from my list (I'd already picked out another SUV but he wasn't sold on it). I hopped in an older Forester and loved the way it drove, but wasn't in love with the body and interior. Due to COVID, the stock was limited, but I was able to find a 2021 Forester that was in my price range. After another quick test drive, we decided to drive it home. It's been about 6 months and I have never loved a vehicle as much as I love this Forester. It handles so well in rain & snow. It drives like a dream. Lots of safety features, plenty of space... I just LOVE this car!

New Favorite Car

My previous car of 16 years was a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. I never thought I’d find a new car that matched it, but my new Forester is even better! Very good handling, cornering feels like the car is glued to the road. I’m loving all of the safety features and tech.

Awesome Vehicle

The 2021 Forester is so fun to drive! The car is well built, safe, functional and the sunroof is so amazing! The body style is nice, as it's more like an SUV. It sits up a little higher so you see more of the road. The safety features are top notch. The console is easy to use, and the once you connect your phone to blue tooth you are free to put your cell phone down. The back seat is roomy enough for grandchildren or adults and seats recline. Overall, I absolutely recommend the 2021 Forester in white of course cause when the sun hits the vehicle just right it sparkles!

Best on snow and ice

I recommend Subaru vehicles for the best winter driving ever. This car (Forrester) performs excellent. Down hill assist is perfect and keeps me on the road with 6" of ice on it. An excellent choice Spokane area winters.

Subaru fan

My family have owned Subarus since we lived in Alaska...about 25 years ago. I was concerned about the pick-up in the new Forester, because I've only driven stick shift Subarus, but this new Forester was great on pick up and with all the safety measures I'm sure it'll save me when I'm not as alert as I should be.

Breathtaking.
