Avalon drive so long

Over 220,000 miles and humming along. Quiet smooth ride. Low maintenance. I want this car to last forever. By far the best car I have ever had. I will consider another Avalon when the time comes for a new car.

I've Owned 2 Avalons Now

It's a Toyota which are quality vehicles made to last. The Avalon is built with a Lexus chassis so it's very comfortable to drive and ride in. I love the body of the 2007 touring sedan as it's very sporty looking with dual exhaust. This car has real pick up and has given me no mechanical problems in the 7 years I've owned it as long as the regular maintenance is kept up.

Toyota is our choice for Best Car for us

This 2007 Avalon is our 2nd Avalon--we logged over 250,000 wonderful miles on our first Toyota Avalon. The Avalon is a great road trip car for us: lots of space, comfortable ride, minimum maintenance--we have no complaints and tons of compliments when it comes to the Avalon. We plan on keeping it until it drops dead! And then we will turn around and buy another Avalon!

2007 Toyota Avalon after 10 years

Excellent vehicle. Low maintenance, delightful to drive, great road car, very good gas mileage for size of car (30+ on the road), comfortably seats 5, would buy another but this one at 10 and over 100,000 miles has lots of life left. Why only 4 stars if so good? Trunk is big but not good for packing (too shallow), trunk access does not open as much as needed and bass speaker is in the way. Also, some features that were out at the time are not included - like MP3 input. One last, the contemporary style makes viewing to the rear very poor for the driver.

Best car

I bought this car used with 50,000 miles on odometer in 2009. Today I have 246,000 miles on it and car still drives like the first day I bought it. When ready I will replace it with the same model. Great ride,steering and comfortable.

Toyota Avalon - What Happened?

2007 Avalon: Overall very dissappointed. Some positives, mostly negatives. Got into 2 accidents because of the brakes. Here are my comments. POSITIVES: very roomy in car and trunk, good gas mileage on long trips (28-30 mpg), good acceleration, smooth ride overall (when you drive straight). NEGATIVES: a lot of sway even during minor cornering (you have to slow down a lot when there is a curve in the road; usually have to pull over and let other cars pass), brakes do not grab (have to press hard with foot), ABS kicks in even with low rain fall (grinding noise is scary), struts went out at 50K miles (I now have $250K, never replaced them since price is over $2K), leather in driver's seat had holes and tears and general bad wear after 1 year (bought the car new); air bags never went off during my 2 accidents; leather gets dirty quickly and almost impossible to make like new; very cheap stereo system (7 speakers, etc, etc. was the marketing hype; sound was terrible so I have rippled out and put in my own sound system), headliner came down at about 125K miles; trunk latch fixed 3X; interior trim is high gloss (looks cheap although it is wood; design engineers should take some aesthetics classes), other things but I am getting tired of writing.

2007 Avalon Ownership

One of the best cars I have ever owned or leased. The car has served me well, extremely reliable, smooth and a quiet ride. A very comfortable car. I like so well that after 9 years I have declined to trade it in and plan to keep it for a while longer.

2007 AVALON CONTINUES TO BE FANTASTIC RIDE

Smooth ride and handling, mileage 34-36 mpg on highway, 25-27 around town. Interior huge-with lounge-like back seating. Cavernous trunk. Very comfortable seats and leg room for long-range cruising. Would definitely buy another Avalon but doubt we will need to anytime soon! Electronics intact at 109K miles. Go Toyota!

Great Ride, Roomy Interior and well finished, Highly reliable

Have owned this vehicle since new. Great car for the money. Roomy interior with quality finish. Nice ride for a 4 Door Touring Sedan. Highly reliable over the life of the vehicle.

Rich's 2007 Avalon Review

I purchased this car brand new on March 28, 2007. It has been exceptionally dependable. I keep all recommended service up-to-date. Earlier this year the air conditioning compressor froze and the serpentine belt broke. There was no other collateral damage. I just replaced the front struts. I currently have 226,377 miles on this outstanding vehicle.

Dependable as it gets

Bought this 2007 Toyota Avalon Limited just over 8 years ago and it still runs like a new car, although it is just short of 60,000 miles. It is a most comfortable car for the driver and even the passengers in the back. I only regret that I didn't by this model sooner. I thought it ran on premium gas, but it only requires unleaded fuel, and gets terrific mileage for a touring car.
