Sean my advisor is excellent however I had an issue that the vehicle had to be returned next day they figured out one if the issues promptly the other issue is intermittent so ei have to go back again for wiring issue

The customer service
The dealership is clean, lots of places to charge your phone, vending machines a television and you can even leave while your vehicle is being serviced and they will text you updates. The caveat is message received is more of a maybe than a guarantee, the woman I was communicating with via text stated that my brake lights would be repaired and I drove home believing that they were only to find out they were not. I do not like having a feeling of uncertainty or mistrust toward the place where I purchased my first vehicle, its a bit disappointing.

I am extremely disappointment with Pohanka Hyundai. I have been taking my car to this dealership since having my car and trusted their advice. Approximately 3 months ago I began having trouble with the battery of my car. I would go through period of not having my car start, having to contact roadside for a jump and then taking it to the dealership to be evaluated. On at least two occasions, the tech stated that there was nothing wrong with my battery and that it was good. On the third occasion, the tech indicated that the battery issue was due to factory issue with the gear shift, of which they replaced. At that time I again inquired if there was anything wrong with the battery and if it needed to be replaced, and I was assured wholeheartedly that the battery did not need to replaced and should last.

Two weeks ago, I had to replace the battery. When I inquired as to what happened to it, I was really provided an explantation other than it "it could be for a multiple of reasons". I then had to pay for the replacement as the warranty had "just" expired. Had the battery been replaced when I began having issue three months, I would not have had to pay anything.
My car is barely two years old and I should not be having any major issues with my car nor taking it back and forth to the dealership.

I am disappointed in the service and overall quality of my car if I continue to have issues.

Extremely Poor Service Experience
Think twice about bringing your vehicle to Pohanka Hyundai. They are not considerate of your time and or money. They are not good at following up with their customers. Plan on calling several times to get a status on your car because the service advisors there do not follow up and call back to update you. They don’t seem to have any empathy of inconveniencing there customer and they will not provide you with a rental for the inconvenience. The manager there is rude and insensitive.. They are not very customer friendly nir service oriented. They play on the fact that you need your car fixed. But don’t have a problem telling you that you can take your car elsewhere. Where is the compassion. COVID-19 hit and people forget how to be kind to others and to treat them as they would want to be treated.

Reliable and Honest Service
There are other Hyundai dealers closer to me but I chose to travel nearly 25 miles on the treacherous Rt. 495 Capitol Beltway to Pohanka Hyundai because of the reputable maintenance qualities. My car now has close to 53,000 miles and I will definitely be back for future services because they are honest.

I am sure that many will agree that having an honest auto maintenance facility is a cherished quality.

The entire dealership is maintained in immaculate condition and the open air waiting area and nearby showroom are extremely comfortable.

Additionally, the service managers who check you in, like Mr. Will J. Bishop, are very knowledgeable and conversant to easily portray whatever issues the car is facing.
