Replacement Truck

Had a GMA Sierra Z71. When it broke down, and needed to be replaced, this new truck was a wonderful step up. The ride, the smooth transmission, the power, and all of the new features have made the transition a great experience.

The 2018 Silverado is a great combination of utility mixed with creature comforts. The outside of the truck is the ruggedly handsome look that Chevrolet owners love, while the interior is generously equipped to keep its passengers comfortable for the longest of road trips. The BEST !

It ride's great handle's like a car and burn's less gas than a 6 cylinder car and performs like a sports car and has a lot of room ! I have friends with Ford and Dodge trucks and they burn twice the gas and have smaller motors !

overall I love the truck-However I do not like the transmission. It shifts ,very sloppy-almost like it slips between gears. When you backup -stop shift into drive,I hesitates,until you step on the gas ,and clunks into gear,abruptly. I had the service manager check it out--He told me his do's the same thing .. 1500 Silverado

I have the 2018, 1500 Silverado 100 Anniversary truck. It has the 6.2 liter engine and has 420 HP, 460 Torque. No problem pulling my 29 FT pull behind trailer. 22in wheels, custom dual exhaust which sounds awesome. Fully loaded with all options.

I love this truck!

This is a great looking and good riding truck that does what I need it to do! When I hauled a 7000 pound travel trailer with it I did miss the 8 speed transmission in the Ram truck I had before it though. This one only has the six speed and it makes a big difference when towing!

Best truck ever

Love my truck, what more can I say? Reliable, quiet, comfy, and efficient are the best descriptors I can use. Have been driving in the Chevy family since I dropped my Toyota Tacoma for a much more capable 2004 Avalanche, and when that exceeded my desired mileage, I purchased the Silverado without hesitation and I couldn’t be happier with it

Suspension attention

Very nice truck. The suspension is very sensitive to tires and road conditions. Feel every little bump and vibration mostly at higher speeds. Besides that very comfortable and fun to drive. Plenty of power.

Silverado

Don’t really care for the fuel management system switching from four-cylinder and eight cylinder. Think it causes more harm to the vehicle then help for fuel. Tows a trailer well. This vehicle was built in Mexico my last one built in Fort Wayne IN, The one built in Fort Wayne the quality was much better.

Not my normal Chevrolet experience

I bought this truck a year ago and seem to have a lot of issues with the starter. Had to replace it once and then was stranded again 2 months later with the same issue (different problem). Chevrolet has always been dependable trucks for me but this one seems to have its quirks.
