My F-150

I have been the owner of this truck since 2003 and it has been problem free. The body is just starting to show its age with some rust forming which is expected after 16 years of use. The overall comfort is still very good and it still gets good gas mileage.

Worst vehicle I have ever had

Most unreliable vehicle I have ever had.... I have spent over 5,000 dollars repairing my truck and I haven’t owned it a year yet repairs such as.... alternator, fuel pump, 3 coils, wheel Bearing, coolant hoses, whole new air intake and gaskets, the windows are very slow and most of the time don’t go up or down all the way, the roof of my truck is completely rusted out due to a poor design on fords part where anytime it rains water sits and puddles in the roof causing rust worst truck I have ever owned

My F 150 Ford

This has been a very good truck, nice ride, very few issues over the 15 years I've had the vehicle! If I have one complaint, it is with the Ford Dealership! Charging for work that Did not get done as per the charges!

Repair or replace?

15 years old. Over a quarter million miles. Do I buy something newer or paint this one and repair some things? I put 8 thousand into it and decided to drive it another 5 years or so.it looks good and drives like a pickup.

I Made a Good Choice

Somewhere around 2005 or 2006 I was looking for a good, serviceable used pickup. I signed up for a 6-month internet membership in the publication Consumer Reports so that I could review the maintenance records of recent used pickups. At that time, the 2003 Ford F-150 was in a series of years where Ford was showing the highest ratings in terms of maintenance issues (practically none), so I started looking for such a model in that series of years. I found one at Riverside's Raceway Ford, bought it, and brought it in to Autotech for general inspection. My test driving of it had me feeling I had made a good choice, and Autotech's inspection confirmed that for me. It's been a great vehicle ever since.

The Best!

Purchased new and NEVER had a problem. Regular maintenance is all that has been needed. Classic design, comfortable ride and makes me feel safe. Will definitely purchase another. Only regret is not having leather seats .

F150 lives up to its reputation

My 2003 F150 is the only Ford I ever owned and I’m glad I made that choice. It is solid and comfortable, a good towing vehicle and looks great on the road. I’ve used it in all kinds of weather and road conditions, with the 4 wheel drive making things safe and smooth. After about 85000 Miles I had to have the transmission rebuilt, and I was told that is common in Ford trucks with automatic transmissions. Otherwise no complaints. When it was new, hail damage caused the hood and roof to be replaced at a Ford dealer. For whatever reason the paint in the replacement parts didn’t last, and they had to be repainted after 10 years. I still love the truck and will soon be giving it to my grandson.

Just bought a new truck and it is an F-150. We are a Ford family.

We have purchased Ford products for over 55 years. I had a Chrysler 300C for four years but went back to Ford. Liked the Hemi engine in the Chrysler but the over all performance was less than I expected.

2003 Ford F-150 Lariat Super Crew Cab

I bought this vehicle as slightly used (12K miles). It is the first V8 owned since college. I have had nothing but the best of experience with this utility vehicle. The vehicle now has only 120K miles on the odometer.

F-150 Harley-Davidson

Love my truck to the highest level and want to drive it forever.Very good truck and very little problems with it. Have over 161,000 mikes on it and seems as if I can get 200,000 more miles on it without major problems.

Dependable

Great vehicle, roomy, comfortable and stylish. Smooth driving and we have taken it on a few road trips and find it very useful. We added a shell on the back and can't tell you how much we have transported things.

2003 Ford F-150 4x4 pick up truck.

Bought the truck brand new from Palm Springs Ford in 2003. Truck now has 123,000 miles on it and it still runs great and has always been reliable and comfortable. Truck still looks great as well. People always complement me on how nice it looks for a 15 year old truck. My next new truck will definitely be a Ford.

I LOVE my Truck!

The most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Regular scheduled maintenance will no problem. Mileage at 196,000 and still working like new!
