Great Car for the Price

Being the original owners and driving it around for five years, I would have to say we have been pretty impressed with the Elantra. They get great gas mileage, have the best warranty, and several nice features we didn't see on anything else in that range. On the negative side, they sit very low, which can make getting in and out of one a chore if you are used to a truck or an SUV. The low-profile looks great; however, if you are accustomed to something that sits higher, it will seem like you are driving a shop broom as you are only one 18 wheeler's chunk of tire away from having to replace anything below the front license plate. Any real issues we have had were covered by the warranty. Everything else has been pretty much cosmetic. Overall, I still think this is probably the best car at this price point.

Perfect for me - 2011 Hyundai Elantra

Great car to get me from A to B. Definitely not a race car, but gets you where you need to go. The stylish interior makes up for the car being a little sluggish and awesome gas mileage is a plus. Took a road trip to Tennessee from Chicago in the car while I was 6 months pregnant and I was comfortable enough to take naps in the passenger seat. The car is simply perfect for me and my little family.

Needs automatic driving lights to beep as reminder to turn off or turn off/on automatically.Would love backup viewing with driver screen to view Passenger seat is too low. (front)

Dependable and fuel efficient

I have had my car for 5 years and have had very little trouble with it. With gas prices up and down, I am always happy to know that my 31 mpg is consistent.

A good and dependable car. Good body design and interior is quite sturdy. It is a small and light car. It the roads are in poor condition, you feel every bump. I enjoy the drive and maneuverability.

Great car

I love my 2011 Hyundai Elantra. If I was to change anything it would be the cover over the GPS it doesn't give enough shade to see the screen when it's sunny out. And I would tent the back window a little bit because the sun was beating down on my car enough to make the seems of my upholstery split open on the back seat and the company wouldn't take care of it after 60,000 miles even though I called before that. They said they couldn't find a record of my call.

Smooth driving for long periods of time.

Love the style and color. 3 recall, very sad Good service. Gas mileage not up to standards.Would buy a Honda next time. But the car is great on the road.

Better than you would think.

I have owned a 2011 Elantra for 2 years now. So far I have 63k miles and it still runs like new. It handles better than I ever expected, with only a minor upgrade to the shocks to stop the "back end bounce". Reliability has been excellent. Other than regularly scheduled maintenance I haven't had to deal with any extra out of pocket costs. The ride is compliant with slightly more road noise than I would like but it's not bad. What surprises most people is that this compact has very good interior room for its size. I'm 6' ft tall and have no problems with space even with a full car. (although I might have to push my seat up a notch or two) The 60/40 rear seats have saved my hide on more than one occasion. The power is enough to do what you need to without feeling strained. (you will not have a problem with power if that's your concern) I take frequent road trips and I'm more than comfortable for hours on end. Overall I couldn't be happier with my purchase and I will definitely be looking at Hyundai again for my next purchase.

Good Car for the Price

This is a pretty good car although it has some issues the Hyundai Manufacturers need to improve. They need to use better materials for the seating of the car as well as make them more comfortable. The brakes on this car not the best, which is another area to improve, and the suspension on this model car is not great. The ride is very bumpy and not as smooth.

Lovely

I love my Elantra. The only complaint is that it is a noisy and rough ride. Suspension is not great. I am looking at maybe a Tucson for my next car because it's bigger and have to check the suspension.

I would have given it 5 stars but only fault I found is it hat it gives too much jumps There is something wrong I believe in its differential ( I am not sure about spelling ) I believe whenever R there is little bumpy road conditions, it jumps too much

The doors squeak. Wd-40 only helps for a couple months then it's over. The seats easily stain. It's a rougher ride.
