Good car

Bought it used 12/16 and i have put 35k miles on the car in a little over a year. Minimal maintenance/repairs. Its been one of the best cars I've owned and I've owned alot of cars. Only thing i don't like Is the pillars at the windshield they give a huge blind spot

Love my car

Got my 2012 Elantra new on lease, in 2014 bought out the lease and still have it. Pushing 90,000 miles on her now, just had front brakes and some suspension work done. This was the only out of ordinary work needed on her

Runs great

Love my Hyundai, Elantra is my third Hyundai, great value for price...the run and run with very few issues... I travel a lot for my job and I love my Hyundai...I keep auto's till they have 175, 000 to 200,000 miles on odometer!

Good for the price

Although the mpg not as they mentioned but the car overall is good car and worth the price. I bought two years back and faced no issues at all. Except the rear brake start getting stuck once I changed the rotors and disk pads, never faced this in any car as I owned at least 20 different brand of cars

Great

It's a great gas saver with these high butt gas prices, comfortable, reliable so far as long as it's taken care of. I believe if you keep up the maintenance it will last a long time! Took it back for a recall and the staff was great!

great everyday drive

I bought my Elantra used and have not been disappointed. It's a nice car to drive to work and shopping. Easy to park. It is really an easy car to maintain. My Elantra feels like a quality drive on a budget price., and it looks great too (even 6 years later!)

Never Buy the 2012 Elantra

Otherwise you will have a lot of Problems like I did!! WoodHouse Hyundai of Omaha, is the only Reason why I still have this Car.! Other than that the Car does very Good on the Highway, including Milage

As whole, Elantra is affordable car for any purpose

Body's Aerodynamic is great, and as whole body design is nice. Acceleration of Elantra is really fun because of having 1800 horse power which is totally appropriate with body weight . The seats are comfortable. Trunk capacity is enough for a four door car.

dependable car.

Vehicle rides smoothly. we've taken it on several round trips over 800 miles. so far, so good. fairly comfortable seating. good luggage capacity in the trunk. It has a timing chain rather than a timing belt, according to the service writer. Soon it will be due for a tune-up, maybe a coolant change.

Love the car but....

I really like the car. Easy to handle, good gas mileage. The down side on my car is not a good paint job. It scratches very easily and you can't buff it out. Also, I never had a car that didn't have some type of rubber or felt between the car and the window. All my previous cars you could roll down the window and it would wipe off the water or snow. This cars does not. You have to remove any water or condensation by hand. This is a pain. I have a 2012 and hopefully they have fixed the problem by now.

We have been pleased with our Elantra since we purchased it new. We are glad that Hyundai is prompt with recalls and service bulletins. However, I hope that there are few if no recalls remaining. Our dealer at Carlsbad, Ca has always been prompt in completing the car's service.

Roomy inside, comfortable and economical

The Elantra is much larger inside than you would expect from a compact car and spirited to drive. I enjoy the luxury features of the Limited model at a cost far less than comparable vehicles. We have owned the car for 6 years with very low repair expense.

Reliable vehicle with great gas mileage.

Great vehicle for local traffic. Not the greatest for long distance travel. It's a light vehicle and rides like a light vehicle. Gets great gas mileage (36-38 mpg). Has been a very reliable vehicle.

Reliable car/fun to drive

I bought my 2012 Elantra as a used car when it was two years old. It has been very reliable, low cost to own and fun to drive. Even though it's a small car it is roomy enough for five adults to sit comfortably and the trunk is very roomy.

I love ❤️ my Elantra. Great on gas, can create my own 4wheel drive, for better traction. Purchased and extended warranty. Definitely the car ? to have. I can’t say enough about the overall comfort as well. Plus the red color of the car when it’s cleaned and waxed. Would definitely purchase a second one, if the opportunity presented itself.

Love my car but minor issues

I love my car but I feel like sun visors were made very cheap and have both broke, I feel like if they were made with fabric it would have been better and the caps that go over wheel locks have came off driving.
