Overall, love the car!

Elantra has smooth ride and somewhat economical, as I drive a lot. Only things that would be a "negative" is body type is light, so on a windy day the car sways on the highway; not always a comforting feeling, with two hands firmly gripped to the steering wheel. Also, highway driving does cause some wind noise through the windows; not completely quiet within the "cockpit". Also, sometimes the bluetooth disengages, without any apparent reason. When going up slight inclines, does not have a lot of power. :(

Great!! Couldn't be happier

I love my car. Got in back in fall of 2011 and I'm still Rollin'. It has had a few quick fixes over the years but nothing major or that would make me want to change cars. I have a 2012 Elantra Limited, Black in color.

I love my car

I have loved my car since the day I drove it off the lot. I have had a few issues that usually get fixed. I will say that the tires that come with the car are not so wonderful though as they don't do snow well. I only have 30000 on my car but decided to replace them since they really aren't that safe in the winter. Other than that I would still buy my car again

Overall I like my car. But I've never been able to remedy the cause for severely delayed starter issues. Hyundai need to do away with manual seat adjusting in ALL cars.

Our Elantra Experience

We have been happy with the features and performance of our Elantra. We chose the Hyundai Elantra because we wanted a small, less expensive,economic car which was comfortable for a 6'2" driver and could hold two sets of golf clubs and our luggage. Other makes had less trunk space. BUT we have to admit we feel like senior citizens when exiting the car. The seats are low and a little difficult to get out of. We are now considering in the Hyundai Santa Fe or Tucson.

2012 Hyundai Elantra

Over all quality vehicle however this year and model has blind spots when your driving that blocks your view of on coming traffic when making turns because the body around the wind shield on the sides is very thick and has an angle that causes blind spots. It hides an entire on coming vehicle from your sight. This defect of design has almost caused me to have a collision more than once because it hid the on coming vehicle

My 2012 Hyundai Elantra is a great vehicle with great gas milage. It has all of the features that I require in a mid size sedan. I am very tall and it has plenty of room for myself and the passanger behind me with the seat back.

This is my second Elantra because it is affordable, beautiful exterior, good on gasoline. It is small enough to park in tight space yet big enough inside for 5 passengers.
