50,000 mile commentary

The Elantra offers an excellent value with adequate performance and excellent reliability. While purchased as a vehicle for local area commuting, two cross county trips proved that it offers perfectly adequate performance for Interstate Highway travel at posted speed limits, crossing mountain ranges, and maneuvering in traffic while offering good economy and comfort during 8 to 10 hour days in the car. However, the disgusting ethics shown by Hyundai of America in denying owners benefits awarded under settlement of class action fuel economy litigation would preclude me from ever buying another Hyundai product and I would not recommend that others do so.

love my car!!!

I had reviewed this car with my husband in 2011. We had decided to but this car as soon as we were settled in our new home. Unfortunately he passed in july. But because we had both agreed that this was the best car for us as soon as some funds became available i was able to purchase my elantra!! And have been very happy with my purchase!!

Overall pretty happy

Even though my 2012 elantra had some MPG issues in the beginning that was put to rest with the overall handling, comfort, and style of the vehicle. I have no complaints of the vehicle at all, except for Fairfield Hyundai. Fairfield was an absolute nightmare to deal with for anything. Luckily Vacaville Hyundai opened up recently and now I have no complaints.

The Elantra Experience

I love my Hyundai Elantra because it is stylish, comfortable, economical and reliable. It's a tough car and has stood up to some abuse, cold rain, heat. It's gone camping and hiking and withstood a Christmas road trip with my daughter and her friend to New Orleans, San Antonio, Waco and back to Florida without a hitch. Stuffed with gifts, luggage in the trunk, in addition to pillows, blankets quite spacious. Still some leftover glitter in trunk brings back memories. This car meets all my needs and more.

I love my Elantra!!

I love my Elantra!! This is my second Elantra. My first car was a Kia Spectra that I bought used and had for 2 years but unfortunately it was totaled by a careless driver. I bought my first Elantra to replace my Kia. It was a 2007 and I was passing the dealer where I had purchased my Kia and fell in love with 2012 Elantra. I think it's styling is very sexy and it drives like a dream.
