It runs great and very poor quality. The seats stain easily and carpet tears. I've been driving for over 30 years and raised my children and have never had stained seats or torn carpets. Now I'm the only one using the car and interior is stained and torn. Very poor quality. The car will also not go in more then 3 inches of snow. I have to keep a shovel and sand in car for winter months. Key fobs don't always work and remote start keeps blowing fuses. Car runs great but poor quality in features and interior

always bought Hyundai but next time will go with another maker. the ride is good, had to buy a battery after only 2 yrs (bought it at wallmart 1/2 cost), the trunk space is very small and if you put the back seats down it doesn't help. The worst was that after I bought it they don't give you a spare tire, they give you a patch kit. I found out why. If they give you a spare they can not match the mileage quote they advertise because it will put more weight to the car.

Hyundai Elantra 2013

You can purchase an AWD Subaru Impreza for almost the exact same amount of money with better quality and AWD. No chip guards for back doors cause constant chipping and eventually rust. Hyundai does not make a chip guard either! I would not purchase a Hyundai again.

It's very loud inside the car

I have a 2013 Elantra and it is ridiculously loud in the car when driving. They need to put dynamat in it or something. Also I should not have had to replace both front struts, a stabilizer bar, and both back shocks within 3 years. Oh and those weren't covered by the warranty

Ugh

I had no idea it was a sports car, just that it is a limited edition. I owned a 2003 and I loved it, so I wanted a newer one. I hate the low profile tires and how low it sits to the ground. Also the ride is stiff and loud. There are many blind spots. Unfortunately I didn't notice everything on my short test drive. This car is not good for short elderly people with arthritis. I can't afford another car so I'm stuck with it. Also sales representatives should not be so pushy and intimidating. I changed my mind before any paper work was signed but I did charge my credit card for the doc fees or something and they didn't \wouldn't refund my payment. So reluctantly I bought the car.

The suspension on the car is terrible, JUNK!!!!.

The suspension on the car is terrible. I will not purchase another Elantra. My first Elantra was great, loved it, that's why I bought another. If you are driving on bumpy roads the backend of the car will skip to the right or left.

For whatever reason the 2013 is the lemons of Hyundais. I've had several in the past and have loved them all. This one in hanging on to only because it's almost paid off.

2013 Hyundai Elantra

All in all, a decent car for the price. Specifically, I am very disappointed with the gas mileage with this vehicle. Salesman sold me on the "fact" that I was going to get 40 MPG on the highway and 32 MPG around town with this car. Not nearly as close to those numbers as expected or advertised. The ride is also a bit of a letdown. I feel every bump in the road. Have ridden in 2 other Elantras and one was very similar to mine and the other wasn't nearly as bad. I like most of the features in the cabin and like how it handles. The last thing I ever thought would be a problem was the spare tire...I don't have one. Wasn't told by ANYONE that there was no spare tire in the vehicle. There's an air pump with a canister of fix-a-flat that you pump in that will supposedly get you up and going. BUT, if you have anything more than a little nail in the tire or have a sidewall issue, forget moving unless it's via a tow truck. And that's a BIG problem if you're on the highway traveling and expecting to keep moving.

4th year in and things are falling apart.

When I first got this vehicle I was completely amazed, but after having it for nearly 4 years, things have changed. The blue tooth isn't connecting and there is no way to fix this, no one can tell me how to reset this. Other than that though, I love this car!

One big go cart

I typically use my car for daily driving. I'm 5"4 so I don't need a lot of space for my legs. Any length of time in the car around 45 + minutes and I get really uncomfortable in it. The ride is ok, but their is a lot of road noise. You feel every bump. This car is meant for a really young person. I purchased the car with 8,000 miles on it and it now has 88,000. The car has been extremely reliable so with that said I can't complain. I have the limited edition so the leather is not s great quality and the USB port only works when it wants.

Disappointed

First car I've ever purchased. I've had a failed engine that had to be completely replaced, faulty break lights and exterior window trim that melted off. This is a 2013 Elantra. Would not buy again. I am thankful for the warranty as all the needed repairs were covered.

2013 Elantra

Interior seat covering is junk. Water will stain it. So, if you try to clean it... you stain it more. Hyundai is aware of this and changed the material for the new models. However, offer nothing to existing clients. Also, compared to my Mazda the paint is junk too. Body shop also commented on the difference in paint quality between brands. Chips and peeling already.
