Enjoying our Elantra

We got our Elantra in December of 2013. We have greatly enjoyed this car and the excellent gas mileage it gives us both on the open road and around town. My wife and I are "empty nesters", and with no children at home it provides everything we need in a vehicle for the two of us. Yet when we want to take a couple of our grandchildren or great-grand children with us, there is plenty of room. For a smaller car it has plenty of power over long drives. We have driven to the Coast and to our daughter's house in the middle of Washington and it has given us a very comfortable ride on long trips. We enjoy the CD player in the car and check out from our local library, Books on CD's that we listen to keep us alert and entertained while we travel. The Key Fob with buttons that allows us to lock and unlock the doors or open the trunk when we have a cart full of groceries to put in is very handy. I have back problems, and the contours of the seat give good back support, and the heated seat in cold weather is very comforting to those back muscles. I like the visibility from the driver's seat -- and the Elantra in my opinion is a great looking car!

Great car. A classic!

They thought of everything: comfort, roominess, seat-heaters, blue-tooth, very roomy trunk. I love this car! It's the best car I've ever owned, and came at a very good price. I would recommend people look to Hyundai when wanting to purchase a great new car!

Great car great price

In 2013 I was in the market for a more fuel efficient vehicle. So I started looking at cars. I looked at many different makes and models. But I kept coming back to the Hyundai Elantra. I couldn’t pass up the warranty and the price and not to mention the fuel economy. Since my purchase in 2013 I have logged more than 50,000 miles on my car. I love it. It’s small, but has a lot of interior room. The trunk is big and able to hold all of our vacation bags. The heated seats are an awesome feature. Bluetooth stereo works great. I have owned it for 5 years and they only thing I have done was change the oil, battery and tires. Other than the usual maintenance I have not had a problem with my car. You really get a lot for your money with the Elantra.

2013 Elantra

We bought the car for our 16 year old daughter. Unfortunately she did have an accident 5 months later but I must say the car performed just like it was built to do in an impact situation. My daughter came out with not even a scratch. I was very thankful for this. The car is very fuel efficient and runs extremely well. She will be leaving in the fall for college out of state. I have all the confidence in the world she will be fine in her Elantra and I would definitely would buy another Hyundai.

My Hyundai elantra has been the best car. I have had no problems out of it and it is great on gas. It is a smaller car but with tons of space. One of the best vehicles i have had and it was very reasonable in price.

I love my Elantra, I bought it brand new and have had no major issues!! It is a dependable car and gets me where I need to go. It gets good gas mileage! I would definitely recommend this car for purchase.

Bought a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Only one issue in 5 years and thecdeqler found The issue and took care of it. The car performs well - great turning radius and good gas milesge. For a 4 cylinder you cannot beat the performance

Tight little car

I purchased my Hyundai used with very low mileage, 25k. I have been very pleased with the car with the exception of a few little idiosyncrasies, such as they could have put the trunk latch opener in a more handy and easy to find spot. The other thing is, it does have plenty of power when you need to pass or make some other maneuver that requires quick acceleration. This strange thing is that you have to really put the pedal down to get it to engage into higher gear and it's a very forceful feeling, as opposed to all the other cars I've owned that are a more gentle acceleration / change of gear. But it does get the job done no doubt about that. It is a very comfortable car and the features are nice. I find the heated seats, something you wouldn't ordinarily expect in a car of this type, very nice.

Dependable

This vehicle is very dependable, good on gas and handles well. You can down shift like you have a stick shift. The ECO feature, really saves you gas and traction is good in bad conditions. The defrost is a plus along with the heated seats..my best.

2013 Hyundai Elantra Touring

Love this car, it’s the first and only brand new car I have ever purchased. The car has 68,000 on it now and has only ever needed maintenance on it. Averages around 33 mpg. I live in Colorado where the mountains are high,lol! If I’m on flat gradual inclines or down hill I have gotten as high as 40 mpg. Very dependable!

Hyundai Elantra 2017

This Elantra is the 8th Hyundai in our household in 11 years. Every one of them surpassed our expectations. The staff is competent, and always accommodates the client. Only drawback is the Dealership needs a gigantic overhaul to be brought up to 2018 standards. The service crew is doing an excellent job with the outdated service area. I am told that the revamping is finally moving to the front burner.

Love my Elantra. Just the right size for me. I travel a lot and feel comfortable and safe. I would prefer a little less road noise. The blind spots are less than some cars, just have to be aware of them. Great gas mileage. Sleek looking car. Mine is the midnight blue. Love the color.

One Point Shy of Excellent

have been quite impressed with every aspect of my Elantra from the excellent gas mileage (40-42 on road trips) to the comfortable ride and reliability. The only thing Hyundai needs to do to make this car a total 10 is to engineer and install a rear axle that is adjustable for castor and camber. I found out the hard way that not all styles of tire will last on a non-adjustable rear axle and no amount of positional rotation will fix the problem. Time to step up and make this a truly wonderful little car.

Great Car

I love my 2013 Hyundai Elantra, it is a great car. I have had it for about 5 years now and I am still glad I made the decision to purchase it. The millage is great and it is a very economical car for anyone to have. It is also pretty low maintenance which is also a huge plus.
