Hyundai Elantra Ltd 2013

I love my Elantra. It is a sporty car, easy to handle and fun to drive. The one negative is the tires. My car has less than 3000 miles on it and I have already had to replace two tires ($240. per tire). While potholes can destroy tires on any car ~ compared to my previous Hyundai Sonata, they just don't hold up as well which makes driving on rough roads a white-knuckle experience even when driving within or less than the speed limit. It is also definitely not a car for a tall person. I am 5' 6" and any taller, I would be bumping my head against the roof each time I drove.

I am an owner of a second Elantra and overall have been satisfied with both cars. However, I am questioning my decision to have purchased my second 2013 Elantra based upon my recent visit to Fuccillo dealership where I purchased both cars and get them serviced. First Elantra needed cabin filter replaced and brakes(rotors, pads,drums and calipers)after 4 years. The mileage was not beyond the average, and yet it sure seemed premature to need all this break work. Purchased second Elantra, and was told on 4/21 that air/cabin filters need replacing(80.00), a new rear caliper for malfunctioning(90.00) and new tire for 129.99. Now, as these repairs are considered maintenance, I am still concerned about this early onset of a brake issue(once again) and I have owned several cars and not once has another dealership or mechanic recommended cabin air filter issues; in fact owning a Hyundai elantra was the first time I have ever heard of this? Now, is this a Hyundai issue, an Elantra issue?? Dealership could not provide clarification other than the winter weather. Not sure if I will buy another one next time. Seems like vehicle is not holding up very well in winter weather .

I like the vehicle a lot. I hate the way service leader or salesman always tells me to give perfect 10's when requested in the days to follow. His/Her position depends on a perfect score.

2013 Hyundai Elantra

I love my 2013 Hyundai Elantra. The seats (Leather) are the most comfortable of any car I have owned. I only wish for two things. The wheel wells to be increased so bigger wheels can be on the car. My final wish is that the replacement engine I just received at 30,000 miles is excellent and that the previous problem does not return.

Great Amenities

The Hyundai has great extras. The design is sleek enough to get confused with a Lexus in a dark garage. The seats have the best warmers and lumbar support. Everything is easy to adjust for the comfort of the driver. The only pitfall is the bumpy ride. If the suspension was better, I would definitely get another one.

I love my Elantra

I would give this car a 5 star rating if the seatbelts retracted properly. Because of this issue has caused dents to the inside of the doors (Driver side and back passenger side) in which causes sensor to interior light system to flash on when turning a corner or going over a bump. 2nd problem with this issue is that doors unlock when leaning on Driver side door armrest if waiting inside the car, which could be a safety issue.

Nice car ( poor bulbs)

Love this car!! I have had to replace almost all of the bulbs. The quality of the bulbs they use is not all that great. All in all this is a great car..

Good vehicle

I like the car, gets good gas mileage, handles well. Road noise is fairly load. Acceleration is adequate. Site lines are adequate. Getting in and out of the car is not that easy and I am not very tall.

Pretty Good little car

Good gas mileage and nice features with the limited model. Wish it had some different climate control options, but overall a good car so far. First 30K miles have been great and I'm looking forward to many more. Biggest problem with the Hyundai cars I own is getting ripped off at the dealership when you just need service. The dealership recommended an $845 service at 30K miles when all it needed was an oil change and checking of the filters. Other than the dealership scalping for service, it's a great car!

Elantra 2013

Do not like the 2013 Elantra has much as my 2003 Elantra. Gas mileage is not great. You can feel every bump in the road. And also poor driving visibility due to the design.
