Elantra Limited

Faults made by Hyundai on the Limited car that we missed.: Eliminating the spare tire/wheel: Front passenger seat should have had a manual vertical adjustment since the seat is too low. The 17"/45 series tires combo don't have much give and transmit jolts. Otherwise, I enjoy driving the car when my wife lets me. Personally, the new Tucson is more to my liking as is my 10 year old Forester.

2013 Elantra

Very good value for the price. I love the features, blue tooth, Satellite radio, GPS, rear view camera etc. I have 2 small negatives. The vehicle is very light weight thus making it somewhat difficult to handle in adverse weather conditions. (Snow, Wet Roads or High Winds) Also, I do a lot of interstate driving at speeds 65-70 MPH. At these speeds, the interior noise level (Road noise) is higher than I expected. This seems to be a common issue with cars in this price range.

Great handling little car/ Awesome gas mileage

Love my Elantra. For the price this is one nice little car. Sharp looking exterior, drives very well and the gas mileage is usually around 36mpg on trips. Taken this car to NC 6 times now and have never had a problem. I have nothing to complain about with this car other than the side windows fogging up/freezing over the minute you turn down your defrosters off of high. We do get overheated because of having to do this and usually have to crack a window for air so as not to get too hot Otherwise A+.

Decent mid size car..

I've owned the 2013 elantra for 3 years now. I have never had any major issues with the car. It gets consistently good gas mileage and is a comfortable ride. I love the backup cam and the sunroof. My only real gripe is that I seem to go through brakes quickly..though probably a result of my driving habits. Additionally it isn't the quietest car in terms of road noise. Definitely a solid value buy however.

Good car

Overall good car. No issues after 67k miles. Just annoying noises of vibrating plastic components from the interior(dashboard area), which I really don't like! Suspension could be better, handling in the curves is not that good.

Excellent mileage but at some costs

I picked this car because I do a lot of driving so I was looking for something that gets good mileage. I'm getting over 35 mpg. The car is comfortable enough and does have room for 4 adults. I seem to go through light bulbs in this car at an alarming rate. My biggest complaint about the car is a blind spot front left.

Nice car but it has no zip

My Elantra has no pick up. Once you get going, it cruises along fine. It has never gotten the gas mileage that was a selling point for it.
