my elantra

For 15 years I drove a Hyundai Santa Fe. It run great. I just brought (Aug 2017) a 2014 Elantra. I can only hope it continues this same tradition. If I could have afforded a Santa Fe that would have been my my first choice by far. I say again I hope this Elantra is as good..I enjoy it so far and my gas mileage is about 29/30 mpg thank you.

I really love my Hyundai Elantra, but I only wish the seats would adjust up to a higher seat. And I would have like to have had a G.P.S. so if I went somewhere I could use it. To keep from getting me lost on the road.

Decent choice but loud

A good commuter car, but the road noise is significant. I was able to purchase a brand new Elantra for the price of a used Civic with 10,000 miles. Beware: the 10 year/100,000 warranty is on power train only. Bumper-to-bumper warranty is 5 years/60,000 miles.

Power steering

in general it is a good vehicle, the only thing that when handling the rudder moves a lot, supposedly they changed a pin that was what caused the constant movement, that a year ago but the problem continues

My wife's car

Vehicle is not bad too drive. Car is comfortable for my wife, a little too small for me. Dealer gave us full warranty on car which was the best determining factor in buying this certified pre-owned car.

Don't know what kind of title you're looking for.

I love my Elantra. It's easy to drive. The only drawback is due to it's sleek styling which slopes in the front, I can't see the front end of the car. I'm short, 5'2" and am also short waisted which means I'm short from the waist up.

My 2014 Elantra.

Love my car but it has a couple enormous drawbacks. The glove box does not have lock to secure personal papers. And the trunk pops open very easy if the key gets even slightly touched putting away in pocket or purse or even carrying in hand, makes absolutely nothing safe in the car, as I have come out of a place I have gone for appointment to find trunk open, probably accidentally touched button. In rain even worse dilemma. I have had many many cars, from many makes in my 80 years, without having these problems, all in the safety area of things. Also blind spot along front windshield for driver.

No features

I only bought the car for low miles and price, I wish it had simple things as a Bluetooth and/or backup camera, for it being a 2014 that should have been standard for this vehicle. If you are looking to price this would be the vehicle. If you are looking for features this would not be the vehicle for you.

I love my Hyundai Elantra.

I really love my Elantra. It has great gas mileage. It rides nice and handles well. The only thing I would change is it is so noisy. It has light insulation so the faster you go the louder the wind and road. That noise makes it hard to talk with a Bluetooth phone when on the Highway. I do recommend getting a white one here in Florida. The darker paint makes it very hot to the touch.

2014 hyundai elantra

good economical car a few things i don't like but it could be me and not the car. The power steering feels like it has a tight spot on both sides at interstate speed. I am used to driving rear wheel drive so that might be i'm not used to the steering of a front wheel drive.

We bought vehicle new 4/14 ! It has almost been trouble free for four years. Enjoy the fuel economy and easiness of maneuverability around town. Also enjoy the technology. The GPS is great. Also really like the back up camera. Thanks

This car is dependable and great on gas mileage. If needed, parts are easy to find on Amazon. I have had it for years and haven't had any issues. This car also comes in some beautiful colors. It is also stylish.

2014 Elantra

The windy sea blue color is an amazing color that people notice and talk about. The acceleration is sluggish at times when you want to get going in speed. over all speed not an issue. Has great trunk space for a small 4 door. Stock sound isn't half bad sounds really good and isn't over powering. Sun roof is a great addition to this must have. leather seats are of good quality after a few years have no tears or wrinkles on them even with seat warmers used. Rear camera comes in clutch. Navigation is way to expensive to add TBH if not already part of the set up. great for long rides or to be used for a daily commuter and looks sharp! value for money now a days is great.

Good car for price!

Honestly I am very pleased with my Hyundai Elantra Limited. I like the special features and I am pleased with the ride. The seats could be more comfortable and i wish the upgrade package for push start and the moon roof was more affordable or I would have opted to upgrade initially.

Really good on gas but lacks in pick up

I recently traded my sonatas for a manual transmission elantra because I missed driving a stick. It has good steering and a smooth ride. It just doesn't have enough umph when you try to pick it up and go fast.

2014 Elantra

My Elantra has been very dependable. I will not get another car with low profile tires as they do not react well with curbs. Design of key fob is poor. The attachment ring should not be on the key, but on the fob. The key is not of much value as all you can do with the key is unlock the car, but NOTHING ELSE. I have had the key come loose from the fob many many times in the last four years. Have been lucky to have the fob returned. Poor design.

It has ome short comings minor in detail 1 the sun-glass holder will not stay in place and the trunk lid is too sensitive the remote pops the trunks with jus the lightest nudge

I would like to see Hyundai come out with a better range of colors like dark green, a lighter shade of blue, the red on the 18 acent would lok nice on the Elentra I would like to see Micilens on the tires frater tan Hankook

Very few complaints

Good mileage, but bulbs burn out a lot. There is a lot of leg room in the back seat which was a big selling point. The trunk is roomy, I have not had to put shopping in back seat very often. After putting all weather tires on, it drives well in winter

Very happy with the overall performance of the vehicle. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because of tight steering and not having a rear view camera. I have a standard transmission so love the control I have while driving. Great trunk space and passenger seating is good as well.

Some Pros and All Cons

I have had this car for two months. Cons: -Sunglass holder comes down due to too much vibration -Radio buttons on steering wheels are slightly sonfusing -Easy to come across bluetooth false connection glitch is easy to come across Pros: -Gas mileage is outstanding and more unbelievable on highway ex:45mi per gallon. -User friendly radio touchscreen system The longer you drive at high speeds the higher you can watch the gas mileage go up -Strong bass in speakers
