2014 Elantra

The only thing I don't like about my car is the backup camera at night - very grainy . My 2012 Elantra has a great backup camera- my 2014 has always had problems with this. Great car otherwise - I recommend elantras all the time.

Elantra

Good car all in all just aesthetics go quick. Tint accessories etc. Reliable car, good gas mileage. And the warranty is pretty great. I definitely enjoy the free oil changes and any problem I have ever had they have fixed.

Sweet little car

Great looking car. Comfortable inside. Nice amenities. Awesome gas mileage 32/40. Controls/ dash all very nice. Had to get new tires within a year and less than 20k miles. Suspension is awful. Car jumps around and slams when you hit pot holes or irregularities in the road. Wiper fluid spray is terrible. Barely goes 6 inches up the windshield.

I love my Hyundai best maker ever never have been more happier with a car. I have never been more happier with my Hyundai. It drives smooth and is small enough for me . The body size is just right . Also love the interior.

Battery

I have really enjoyed my Elantra and it's been a very reliable car. Recently the battery died after 4 years. One expects to replace a battery at some point. I was shocked at the price of the "special" battery. This is not a good marketing issue. Hyundai needs to rethink why a car needs a $300.00 battery.

Good little car

I have had my Elantra about 2 years. It had 25K miles on it when I got it. I have put over 40K miles on it and I am very pleased. For the price, you cannot get a better car. It looks great, comfort is above average for a small car, and it gets 40+ mpg highway, Upper 30’s in town. My previous car was a Santa Fe. I miss my SUV height when getting into and out of the Elantra, no fault of the car, just my age.

2014 Elantra

I've had the car for about 2 years now and the more I drive it the more I am liking it. At first it had some little niche in the steering but it seem to correct itself and now it steers perfectly. The only small complaint I have is that at take off every once in awhile maybe due to bad gas it has a little lull and then picks up. I found that if I bought a little additive even from the dollar store it seemed to help perhaps on the octane to make it smoother. One thing I do not appreciate is that the upholstery seems to show liquid spots even from water I think this needs to be improved.

An affordable and a low cost of ownership car

We have had 45000 miles driving experience with this car without any significant issue. We did regular maintenance and only replaced battery and front brake pad. This car has a good interior and exterior design and has also good gas mileage. The only negative point is lower reliability of car compared to competitors with the speed 65 miles per hours.

Very Reliable

this is my second elantra and like my first, i drive it big time. it's very reliable. Good gas mileage. i've already put 189000 miles on it and it's still going strong. I never feel like this car will leave me stranded. Very low maintenance.

Performance

Fabulous gas mileage in town and on the highway !! Love back up feature & GPS as I travel and don't like using a map. Heated seats great in cold Wisconsin winter weather. No rear windshield wipers !!!!! Ride is rough on bumpy/bad roads even with new tires I just had installed

My third Hyundai.

Chose the car because of previous good servicefor my needs, and this one lived up to it again.. MY 2008 MODEL IS STILL RUNNING AND WAS THE TRANSPORTATION FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL and is still in use when they are home from college or if the parents need another car for some reason.

fun and easy car to drive. VERY LOUD ROAD NOISE. Fuel economy is good. I do not like the BLIND SPOTS and they can be difficult to look and see if another car is driving in the blind spot. Otherwise is good value.

Elantra is reliable, economical and comfortable.

This is my second Elantra. The first was a hatchback and was so disappointed that they were discontinued. Absolutely loved mine. This one has many of the good points of the first other than trunk space is small and extremely limited in height. Am having a problem with tires. Had to replace first set at 22,000 miles. Now second set only has 18,000 and needs replacing. Miller Hyundai recommended the ones now on it as being all season 40,000 mile tires. Either I have a problem with the car causing premature tire wear or with the tires themselves. I rotate every oil change (less than 5000 miles). Have apt with Miller to discuss.

Nice car

I have had my Elantra for approx. 4yrs now. My only concern would have to be about a year ago the sealant on all 4 car handles was pealing and of course, not covered under warranty. I just find it odd that all 4 door handles was pealing at the same time. That sounds like a defect.

Good reliable car

Very dependable car. I’ll drive everyday to work 150 miles. I get excellent miles per gallon. I think for the money it’s a pretty decent and reliable vehicle. Also the features backup camera and Bluetooth are excellent.
