2015 Elantra

This is a fun and well put together vehicle. I love driving it. I do have a problem with the GRACE period on my payments since they make it almost impossible for me to my payments paid on time since I am on SSD or a fixed government income that I receive the first Wednesday of each month.

No spare/donut supplied with my new car

This is the second Hyundai Elantra I've purchased. My first lasted 11 years. I was shocked to find out I did not have a donut in my trunk when I got a flat tire. Only fix a flat/compressor. Had to replace the tire! I would have taken the donut from my trade in if I had known

Great design, nice gas milage

The vinyl seats aren't the most comfortable but maybe my body needs time to adjust? The entertainment system is good. Would write a longer review but it's late and I need to put my daughter to sleep. :) Other than the driver seat not being the most comfortable seat I've sat in, it's a great car so far!

I like the car . I like my dealer and service people,

I am not happy with the 24 /7 road service.2 times I had problems when out of town. low tire pressure. I was told if it is not flat it can be ridden on. no one able to help me . this time the battery went bad ,the would tow me back 135 miles to the nearest Hyundai dealer.{they could not tell me when they could get to it if towed in } so I got the car started and drove to my FRIENDLY SERVICE PEOPLE AT Camelback Hyundiai

Better than Expected

Never expected this from a Hyundai. Went to the dealer to look at a Nissan Sentra because I had one in the past and really liked it. Someone ran a red light and totaled my Sentra, so I wanted to replace it. Salesperson showed me some, but asked if I had ever considered a Hyundai. Of course not! When Hyundais first came out, I remember that they were definitely not the car to buy and they didn't have the greatest look. I expressed that to the salesperson. She convinced me to just look at one. I was totally surprised. I looked at an Elantra and it was absolutely beautiful and had features that I never expected from a Hyundai. I took it for a test drive expecting a not so smooth ride. Again, surprise because it drove very smoothly and it was quiet. The price was also unexpected. I thought this car with all of these features would cost a fortune. I'm very pleased with my Elantra.

Visibility

I love my Hyundai Elantra except for the visibility. The post between the front window and the windshield block my visibility when making turns. I have already over shot where I want to make my turn. Also, it is difficult to see people in urban settings due to this same lack of visibility. Other people who drove the car also had the same problem.

Elantra review

I would but nothing other than an Hyundai Elantra,it always is dependable,feel great driving and is comfortable on long trips which I take often to Miami. The only reason why it didn't get 5stars is because I am disappointed in the gas miles per gallon. The new 2017 get between 37 and 40 and mind averages 26 when I take trips which I feel is below average for the Elantra comparable to the ford focus even .other than that I still Wiil be buying another Elantra,I drove the new ones that are out and Hyundai is still the best brand. I have owned 8 elantras and and 2 sonatas and wont buy any other brand.

Good vehicles

So as far as being an all American car buyer I took a venture into the Korean unknown. I like the interior room of the car and I am 6'5" plenty of room top and bottom and width. Car has descent acceleration... Not like a Dodge Challenger does... But it beats the MPG by 10 or so. I have averaged 35-37.5 with max tire inflation. It is quiet. Radio is good. Base model could use the lumbar support as standard. Overall I like this look better than the 2017 that just came out. Interior is better in the 2017 for sure as they actually made the changes I suggested in my last review. But ..... sarcasticly I'm am not a car guy and I don't know what car buyers want or feel so my opinion is just a mear suggestion. Hope you enjoy

Great car but lacks power

I really like the Hyundai brand i have owned hyundais since 2001. Although my favorite is the Tuscan. The Elantra is cheaper to maintain and more economical.
