Great car!

Car is very smooth to drove, sports mode feels great, but passanger seating is a little too small than other cars in the same class. One thing I noticed on the rear taillight is that the body was not aligned correctly on the passanger side on top of the taillight. I feel like this car would be alot better if it had just a bit more power. The bad part of the Elantra is that Bluetooth and back up camera isn't standard compared to most cars in the same class. I had to buy a higher priced car to get those features on my Elantra when I could have bought a Honda Accord LX for the same price and it would have been alot more comfortable

2017 Hyundai Elantra

up until my recent problem I loved my Elantra. It handles well the gas mileage is great and it is a very nice looking vehicle. Do occasionally have problems with Bluetooth connectivity. I was very shocked when at only 10K miles I had to have a thermostat replaced and hope that this is not a sign of problems to come.

The auto don't close the driver's door properly and the dealer told that they can't do anything to fix it . It's really annoying.

Elantra

My car is a Limited fully loaded great features especially if you have new drivers. Car is very light doesn't feel heavy to the road like a more expensive car. Handles fair excelerates fair if in sport mode. Does not handle well in the snow. Much smaller than my previous cars.

Great Gas Mileage

I love the gas mileage I get on this car...it's not hybrid but I am getting 42 average on long trips. However, the car doesn't keep sound out very well, if you are on a road that is in bad condition, you'll know it. I feel like I am actually sitting outside the car at times even though I have the windows closed and the radio up..it's still a loud ride. I don't notice it when I am just driving local, only on long trips.

Not a man's car

Ii love this car and my husband hates it. Good gas mileage, reasonably comfortable seats, etc. Far too many blind spots for a car of this size. I've learned to compensate for them, he hasn't. Rear speakers are mounted in the doors, which became an issue on a long road trip. Recline the passenger seat to nap, speaker is right in your ear. Ugh. Overall, it's a decent car for the money I believe. Sadly, a similiar Kia rides better. Oh well. As I said, I still like my car.

WHY?!!!

It is impossible to get a meaningful evaluation of this vehicle in a 5 minute drive around the block. It has an incredibly high road noise problem, depending on various road surfaces! You have to turn up the volume on the radio to overcome this problem, but that only exacerbates the problem!!! It has to be one of the worst distracted driver cockpits of any vehicle on the road today!! Absolutely the pits!! And why does the trunk keep opening on its own even when I am tucked into my bed for the evening??!! And on one occasion it opened during a rainstorm. ?

Love everything about the Elantra except the noise level

I enjoy so many features about my 2017 Elantra... the rear view camera and alert signals for blind spot warnings are the best. Previously I had a Sante Fe, but I was ready to move into a sedan for better milage and overall ease of handling (especially on narrow mountain road adventures). However, if you want a quiet car, this is not the model. Before trading in my Elantra, I will try higher grade tires other than the ones that were installed on the car when I purchased it. Hopefully, that will help, especially on the expressway where the noise level is the loudest.

I have mixed feelings about this car. It doesn't seem to hold up well. My door handles and volume knob are already peeling. It's only 1.5 years old and I'm not doing anything weird to it. Also, it has make an odd noise when driving and i had service look at it 3x with no solution.
