Great Little Car!

I was debating on a Chevy Cruze or an Elantra, I had a Cruze for a Uber rental so I was familiar with the car. I saw this on the lot the new style and color captivated me. I liked the charcoal colored rims and the black interior it goes together well. The sun roof was extra candy. I took it for a test drive and I liked the comfort and power better than the Cruze it was sold at that moment. The seating position in the Chevy made my left knee ache during long drives the Elantra does not. The tires are a bit too cheap for my taste they have poor grip during take off when it is raining. I put 50k miles on it and experienced zero issues other than a nail in my tire. Overall the car is a pretty good value for your dollar in my opinion.

great running car great on gas materials seamed to be a little cheap bad experience with the radiator ,traded the car in when it was still under warranty so we would not have to pay for anything that went wrong when the warranty ended

One of my favorite cars so far

Let me begin by saying that I have driven several kinds of cars. I have driven an Audi A6, BMW 320d, Mercedes C and E series of vehicles, Ford Focus, and Hyundai Accent. With that being said, this is probably my 3rd favorite of all the cars I have driven, only losing to the BMW and Audi. I honestly love this car regardless of where or how long I am driving. I have commuted in D.C. traffic, taken 6 hour long trips, and driven it through the Blue Ridge Parkway in this car and it has been without a doubt one of the best driving experience I have had. I currently own an SE model with all the package options and have owned it for over 1 year, put about 15K miles on it, and I love this car. The only "complaint" I have is that I wish the materials were a little nicer on the interior, i.e. less plastic and more soft touch material especially a knee rest for longer rides. The only thing that has given me a problem is that the rear driver side window button stopped working all of a sudden, but I don't think that would be a difficult fix. I can only hope that Hyundai will take a Toyota approach for amenities i.e. making LED headlights standard, radar cruise control, lane keep assist, and emergency braking in all the future cars.

My Elantra

I only had one complaint. The look of the low profile tires and rims are good but unless you're on a nice smooth surface the ride is not as cushioned. Feerl lots of bumps. The tires and rims do not take to bumps too well.

A Good Investment

The Hyundai Elantra is a reliable, stylish car that is affordable and an overall good investment. The fuel economy is good and it's been a very low-maintenance vehicle. I researched Hyundai for several days before I went for a test drive. That sold me on the car.

My car

I've had the Elantra for 3 years. Have about 26,000 miles on her. Only a couple of long trips. I love this car. Cools the interior quickly and continuously on the hottest Vegas day, good acceleration, great accessories, Apple Car play saves thousands of $ by not buying dealer installed GPS. Headlights are fantastic, sound system could be a tad better but it suffices. I have Sirius XM and it rocks. I think it is a good looking vehicle. Creature comforts are awesome. Consider this car.

The car has some very nice features. What I don't like is the pickup. It is slow and when there are more people in the car, it is really slow. Need something a little faster for me. All else is good with the car.

2017 Elantra Review

This has been a good car. I haven't had any problems with it. The dealer that I got it from doesn't deal in Hyundais anymore and had a better selection than the local Hyundai dealer, so I don't know what I'll do. I had to get a car that fit my budget when I got this. It exceeded my expectations.

Good Mileage but the engine light?

The vehicle performed well. It looks nice and gave us excellent mileage. The only problem was three trips to the service dept. because the engine light came on. Twice it was the thermostat and once the sensor.

Where’s my handle??

I love my car. It’s a 2017 and it is all I expected. I bought it for comfort and warranty but have grown to just plain love it! My only complaint is that there is no handle on the door inside to close it.

My Elantra

I am a low mileage driver with the occasional road trip. Was step down from my previous Sonata and it was price that made me move down in class. Overall car does what a car is supposed to do, start every time and not breakdown. Gas mileage on highway is surprisingly high wen in Eco mode average 38 Mpg on several trips to Vegas from Phoenix. Not what you would call a luxury car but very serviceable for low mileage drivers. Felt I over paid for the one must have feature Navigation that the car need for me to have. Dealership was not aggressive in its pricing and only matched a better offer from another dealership when presented with a written offer

Lease car. Hyundai, Elantra

I enjoy this little car. It's fun to drive, and nice to look at. It's comfortable, the sound, and phone system is excellent. My only little complaint, is the lowness of the front bumper. You have be super careful not to bump the curb.

I am not satisfied with the height of my drivers seat. Yes I did a road test but I decided to lease the Elantra and live with this small detail.

I have owned 4 Hyundai vehicles. i feel better driving the Santa Fe SUV than the Elantra. I realize one is a truck and the other is a car. My decision was because of the pricing between the 2 vehicles. I am getting ready to buy an SUV. I wil always sty with Hyundai,

Elantra falls short

Little issues like back up mirrors not returning to drive position and a trunk that opens when AF planes fly over leads me to question Hyundai's attention to detail and ability to last. It is fine for town driving but don't recommend taking it on trips.

Nice looking car, but I should've gotten something bigger

I like the car, but wish I would've gotten something bigger. The Elantra seats everyone comfortably, but driving it can be challenging. There are some blind spots because of how low it sits. You also have to be careful with the low profile tires.
