2017 Hyundai Elantra SE

The car has many features not present on my 2010 Hyundai Elantra however the absence of fog lights and amount of light given by the headlights leave a lot to be desired, especially in rain and fog.. The interior car seats are hard to clean.

Nice little car for the price. Low mileage and is good shape.The car services the purpose I bought it for. I would definitely consider buying another Hyundai in the future. I would also recommend to friends.

Vehicle as a whole

Vehicle runs goods. My complaint is with the trunk. I have noticed it open when I did not press the button. I like to have my mind set at ease that the trunk will not be open unless I want it open. I have found it open on 2 separate occasion. Not comfortable with my trunk open in a parking lot or open in my driveway.

General

Brand new 2017 model already have following issues: 1. Recall for door handle 2. Had to replace a battery 3. Engine light came on and had to replace thermostat Little disappointed for having a brand new car.

Alright

Could be better. Maybe dealer wasn’t honest The battery died less than year Bought two tires But overall car is reliable. Gas mileage is average. Very little features. No back camera. No cruise control.

There are only two drawbacks the interior armrest near the window start peeling in less than one year. The other drawback is when you lift the rear hatch door any snow that's on the car will fall inside the storage area

Great Car for anyone on a budget

Reliable vehicle i would recommend doing an underbody coating for sure you can do it yourself for cheap usually the auto part stores sell the cans also the exaust system should be coated also but make sure you use a high heat primer and paint as it gets hot and avoid spraying the catalytic converter. doing that alone extends vehicle life greatly. also make sure you keep the fluids checked and filled as needed this car likes have proper levels of fluids any less and it will let you know lol. other than that it is a good car never had issues starting and does surprisingly well in the snow for its weight has a nice sport mode and eco mode depending on your mood touch screen and sirius xm was a great adittion comfortable seats handles well.

Rides rough

I have accommodated but never been truly happy with the way the car sways back and forth. I feel as though I am in a dinghy. Otherwise, I am very happy with it. It does well on highways; not so well on bumpy city streets.

Great!!

The only concern I have I that I have had to bring my car up there twice to get something fixed that was under warranty. I bought the car new from you all in 2017. The issue was my gas cover wasn’t properly working and my window buttons were malfunctioning. You all took car of it and made me very happy!! Thank you ? I love my car!!

Great Car With a Few Shortcomings

Overall, the car is comfortable and dependable with great gas mileage; handles well and has good visibility. There’s decent room inside & in the truck, considering its size, although you have to duck down when entering due to its low profile. Only problems are a stiff and somewhat noisy ride, especially if you keep the tires inflated to the recommended 36 psi (cold) and worse over rough roads. Other cars of this class, with these same size tires, recommend lower inflation; I recommend keeping them at 32 or 34 to improve the ride.

2017. Hyundai Elantra

Great car. Just went out west getting an average 40 mpg. At 56,000 it has started using oil. Never a drop until this trip. Drive a 1,000 miles, no use. Next 1,000, almost a quart. Strange. Used 2-1/2 quarts total. Told the service department and was told this was acceptable.??? Next issue is the seats. My wife hav a 2011 same model. Her seats are comfortable but on long trips the 2017 lack comfort. It is a low end car but I wish we could swap seats. Overall, no real complaints. Love the mileage.

A must buy for Elantra lovers

You cannot go wrong with the Limited edition. Too many features to mention here, but this vehicle is a tremendous difference from its predisessors! An amazing ride, new look, quiet, and fully loaded. I'm glad I traded in my 2005 Elantra for this.
