First New Car

I bought the 2018 Hyundai Elantra because of the cost. I need something reliable and affordable. This car is both of those things. I doesn't have enough get up and go for me and there is a ton of wind noise. The speakers also have tons of static. I do love that I am able to project my phone to the car screen for navigation.

2018 Hyundai Elantra Extra Value Package

This car does not handle well in the winter weather, snow, and at highway speeds, or if its windy. If they could of nailed those issues it would have been a perfect car. It also could use a power driver seat.

Engine problem

I bought my car at Ron Carter clear lake last November 2017 and I already have problem with the engine.i try to call them and live a message no response. But i call southloop Hyundai and they take care of it.

Its doing good. Sales agent told me it has bluelink feature but when i bought it and performed test drive he was like oh no i am sorry sir i didnt know that. It was weird because sales agent should know everything

Good car for the price

I like the car it’s great on gas but the road nois is kinda loud . Small but roomy and very nice features such as Apple CarPlay. the interior I think is very well-made and as far as the ride it’s not as smooth as the sonata

Good handling and engine performance. The driver's seat is very comfortable for drivers of short stature or for those who suffer of back pain (my wife's situation) But not for tall men like me. I like the 100,000 miles factroy warranty.

Hyundai Elantra Sport

Not completely happy. This was not the I thought it would be. Paying it off and going to get a Honda Accord like everyone told me too. I should have watched more independent reviews online about it. Honestly, not 100% happy For the 28,000 dollars on a Elantra Sport, well I was taken to the cleaners. Shame on Crain Hyundai in Little Rock Arkansas. Never again!

I was excited to purchase this vehicle, but it seems that this particular car came with issues. Loud rear brake noises, chipped paint on the bumper, clicking sound from gear shift knob to name a few.

Good vehiclle to go from point a to point b. Getting in vehicle is hard for taller people.you have a good choice of colors Gas mileage is very satisfactory.The storage space in the trunk is very reasonable

2018 Hyundai Elantra

I love the outside. But I feel the inside is very cheap and basic. The seats are not comfortable and the backseat is not as big as I had hoped for 2 child’s car seats. I love the outside and the performance of it. It’s very good on gas. It is a step up from the Hyundai Accent I had prior. Overall, I needed a bigger car for the 2nd baby I had coming because the accent would not fit both car seats.

Overall good car Nice features for price paid - BSM, Cross traffic alert, smart trunk, moonroof, back up camera. Would like to have electronically adjustable seats Atleast for value addition. More importantly: NOTICED A TICKING NOISE FROM MY CAR WHEN STARTED ON COLD MORNING - very unreliable for the car which is driven only for 300 miles

let me drive couple thousend miles this car then i will give you my review

no comment yet because I did not drive this car even 1000 miles give me couple months then I will give you review so far so good this car over all nice car and good dealer and good experience when we buy this car only problem is inspection sticker was 7 months old should be May 19 but car has sticker October 18 I ask dealer but did not got satisfied answer.

Miss my CD player

Still don’t like the backup camera or the warning buzzers at all! Wish I had not given up my CD player. I do like the tire pressure display!! Yeah!! Yes & keep cruise control & Blue Tooth. The trunk is too small too!

Initial Quality Issues

The engine temperature indicator gauge showed hot and a warning sound activated while returning home from a trip to Lakeland. The transmission cooler hose had separated from the transmission oil cooler fitting on my 2018 Hyundai Elantra SE. I concluded, during a visual inspection, that the pressure clamp was positioned too far away from the connection. The Service Technician explained that offending hose was to be replaced by "an upgraded version." I was displeased with having an issue with a new vehicle with less than 1,000 miles on the odometer.

Great car!

My 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport is a great car! Very stylish and sleek, while getting okay (not the best) gas mileage. It has a lot of pickup even without sport mode on, it with sport mode, it really goes! Premium sound system is amazing! The transmission though is why I gave 3 stars instead of 5. Shifting from reverse to drive, and drive to reverse; takes several seconds. After I move the gear shift, I have to sit and wait until the car is actually in gear. I get that it has a dual clutch transmission, but I feel like Hyundai could make it more reliable. The quality of the interior is okay, but could use some improvements. The hard material on the doors, just below the window is rather easy to scratch. I have only had the car 4 months and there’s already a few scratches on that material. The only thing I hope changes is the transmission, I hope Hyundai recalls it soon!

Not happy

Although I like the size and ride of this car some of the features and equipment are horrible; the gas mileage is not as good as I expected, there's alot of wind noise when driving on the highway and the tires are the absolute worse. I will not buy another Hyundai in the future.

The car is a money saver when it comes to gas, is a really nice car on the inside and also in the outside, but, it has a transmission problem and they cannot help with that, the cars where made like that.
