2021 Elantra

Overall the vehicle has not met my expectations. The car is known for its tech but I feel like the tech doesn’t work well. The overall driving experience is fine but the tech needs improvement in consistency. I don’t dislike the purchase but I definitely would not recommend to others as I am having many issues with the brand new 2021 addition.

very poor quality plastic (dashboard, etc) + from the outside very poor quality coating of paint and varnish............................. ......... ...... ..... ..... ..... ......

Cute, embarrassing, and the price is not right

Yes I have a Gorgeous Liquid Medal 2021 Hyundai Elantra NLine. It was on the showroom floor. Just shining in its suit of armor. Test drove it twice everything was fine. Got it home it sung from the brake/rotors, at a minimal touch of the brakes going less than speed of 2-5mph, (parking lots, stop signs)fixed the 1st time 2nd time they couldn’t hear it... sooooo here I am brand new car embarrassing me with horn sound coming from the front brake and rotor area. The car also snatches you back into lane if you don’t use your turn signal so be very careful and mindful of high speeds. This car is not for kids. Maybe 1

Don't let the fancy tech and lights fool you

Overall this car is quite nice but there may be better ones out there within this price point. I love the look of the exterior, and much of the interior is great though it is filled with quite a lot of hard plastic surfaces which lessen the luxury feel of this vehicle. The tech all seemed state of the art at first but then it started to show its lack luster. The lack of a digital key option for Apple iPhone users is a total let down and now without the NFC card key, Apple users are stuck using the key fob. This mean there is no use for the digital key card reader in the car. There is a wireless charger, but if you plan on using CarPlay, you need to plug it in so that wireless charger is also useless. And the dynamic voice recognition leaves much to be desired. It doesn't recognize much of anything and will only seem to frustrate the drive even more. Although it does offer some nice features, many of the tech conveniences are lacking that the overall driving experience isn't all that enjoyable.

My 2021 Elantra ?

I'm so in love with my car, I just sit in there for hours sometimes just looking at it and in a comfort zone, I am so grateful for my car, Thanks to Levi @ Hyundai of New Port Richey. I am so excited and love driving my new car too, the drive is so smooth.

Ok car

Good car if you don't need a lot of storage space. Only has a 10 gallon tank so you have to fill up a lot more than you would think.for a small car. Some of the features are annoying and cant be turned off/ fixed.

Worst rear suspension ever installed in a new car.

Get a back brace for whoever is sitting in the rear seats. What a shame that Hyundai ruined what was an excellent job on the remake. The engineers should have taken the car out and be seated in the rear. Maybe they would have changed the quality of the rear suspension

Not at the head of the class

At first glance, this car seems to be great. It has lots of tech and cool features, but look a little closer and you find the faults. My Elantra limited is missing the NFC card key and the dealership won’t give one to me. The door trim on the drivers door is loose and the passenger door trim around the mirror seems to be attached incorrectly. I emailed Hynudai but never even got a response other than the automated receipt email. The car handle well but the road noice is more than one would expect. Maybe the misalignment of the door trim plays into that noice but one will never know. It does seem to have some nice features for the price but you could just about get a Tesla for the same price.

My new ride running hot already

Brand new car running hot only 900 miles. I bought it new A/C not working either. Been in shop two weeks and counting. Shop has no idea when I'll get my vehicle back says parts are on back order. Thanks for your concern in this matter.

Not a good car for anyone over 5ft

This car is very small it is not a good car for tall people also the back seat has NO phone charger and NO air conditioner vents you will need to keep the air on high all the time if you have people in the back seat. I'm located in Florida so it is hot all year long

Bought brand new car. Got checking engine light and then flashing check engine light. Dealer told me not to drive it check engine light and date of appointment is 2 weeks after to fix the car. What’s the point of buying new car.

Worst paint/protection I’ve ever seen

Paint is ravaged by water spots like I’ve never seen before on any car. Hand drying after wash, wax, waterless wash couldn’t get them out or prevent new ones. No point in that sweet long warranty on the internals if the body is ruined long before that will matter

Random Sensor Errors

First new car seemed to be dream car until random sensor errors started to roll in one after the other making car feel unsafe and unreliable. Seems to be rare so no one seems able/ want to help me. I get every error at once, lose turn signals, tachometer, power steering. It happens randomly every other day making it seem like it has some serious electrical problem.

Hate Bluelink

Bluelink is unreliable and a safety issue and I will NEVER buy another Hyundai unless they remove Bluelink. The Bluelink problem over shadows all of the great features. I had a 2019 that I wish I didn’t trade in. I loved everything about the 2019. I also dislike the no key start. I have gotten out of my car more than one and I coined out and my car is still running. I want my key start back.

Es nuevo y ya le falla todo

Un Elantra 2021 con 16000, ya no funciona la cámara de retroceso y se dispara todos los sensores de seguridad del vehículo, esperar para su reparación en los concesionarios es perder días y siendo una prioridad, citas para más de un mes.

Not as good as previous models

This car is beautiful, and it drives well but issues with the useability of the display, the unclear and inconsistent alerts as well as unreliable driving assistance features that will cause the car to stop or swerve automatically on the highway make this vehicle annoying at best and unsafe at worst.

Purchase treatment versus service treatment

When you purchase the vehicle you receive amazing treatment. After the vehicle has been purchased, you will find out some things that you were told regarding financing and mileage were not exactly true. Also, taking your vehicle to the service area you may have to make multiple trips in order for them to actually take the time to fix your vehicle.

Disappointed

Dissatisfied for the amount being payed for the car . I enjoy it but the engine rattle noise isn’t a good feeling to hear especially when vehicle isn’t that old . I maintain the oil charges but this is unacceptable

Look good on the outside and inside but

Having intermittent issues with the electronic and the dealer can’t replicate issues so no fix. 3 times in the last 8 months.I could have a lemon. Have to wait until the issue happens and drive it to the dealership. Problem with that is I using the car to get somewhere.
