Great car in every way EXCEPT the air conditioning.

If you like it icy-cold in your car, forget the 2021 Hyundai Elantra SEL. Service manager has pretty much implied that I'm stuck with the wimpy output. In the summertime, I have to drive around in a light sweat -- ugh!

Elantra 2021

The car looks good and drives good, but slowly looses that feel. There is little space for trunk spaces to store items. File says I get over 40mpg but somehow goes down fast and I have to fill up the tank again. My Honda Civic lasted 2 week on 400 miles and this card says I get 470 but when I start driving 10 miles in it drops to 440 the next 15 miles drops to 398.

Nice car with issues

I loved this car until the recalls started and my car kept overheating (still overheats). Seriously considering getting a new car (non-Hyundai). It’s such a nice looking car but the issues outweigh the look for me.

Great Car -BE SURE STEREO WORKS BEFORE PURCHASE

Great Car and love EVERY FEATURE...EXCEPTION is after 2 weeks 2nd time going to repair stereo system that still does NOT work on a brand new car! I know Allen Turner Hyundai will make it right. They are STILL the best in town!!! I love music so it's hard to hold on to an expensive car that has a non-working stereo system

Great Car and amazing looks

Car is great and stylish. The interiors are decent. Only thing I felt was the sound setup could have been better considering its a Bose system. The volume is pretty low and at high volume it cracks. The ride quality is really good and has exceptional handling. Only thing I felt was the car lacks the engine performance and it lags while accelerating.

Exterior moldings black plastic trims already starting to fade to a hazy white. Car had a small dent in rear door upon delivery. And paying full sticker price it’s not a buyers market right now. Hold off if you can

Good car for a good price

This car was the best deal on the market for me. It was a car with an affordable price and it has a great warranty. I don’t like some aspects about the interior, but the car also has some great qualities.

To much plastic

Nice car, but it has to many features that are plastic. I have owned 4 Elantras and this is by far my least favorite, because of the plastic issue. The best was the Sport. Unfortunately it was not available when I purchased this one.

Reliable car for first timers

Braking needs to be better because too much noise at times. Exterior design is cool but interior is very cheap. Overall, driving this car is somewhat fun. Would have expected better range on the car given its mpg but the gas tank is not big.

Do your homework first

It’s a beautiful care it will knock you off your feet but it has its issues brakes squeak insulation not great you hear the tires on the road. While on the highway if you don’t put on your signal and try to switch lanes it will pull the wheel which can cause an accident

Apple phone connection works sporadically

2021 Elantra SEL is great,,except the phone connection is really crappy. Very often looses the call and the radio comes back on. I have downloaded new software from Hyundi twice with no success. I hope it can be fixed.

Great Car, Bad Engine

Our 2021 Elantra Limited has all the bells and whistles and drives great. Until the cold weather arrived and the engine started to stall when the car came to a stop. Not all the time, though. There were also no warnings or check engine light indicating anything was wrong. This makes it impossible for the dealership to diagnose the problem. Now that Spring has arrived, we may not experience the engine stall until fall.

Tengo problemas con mi carro no me siento seguro, tengo pensado cambiarlo por un Chevrolet o un Toyota y no recomendaría Hyundai a un familiar o amigo porque no es seguro, ya lo lleve a chequeo y me sigue causando inseguridad porque tiene el mismo problema

Sleek and stylish family car

Very sleek and stylish family car. Great fuel economy also. Room for 4 to 5 passengers and cargo room to spare in the trunk is nice. The sound system meets all our needs . The convince package is a great piece of mind while driving.

The vehicle on the outside looks great with a very sharp interior. The sound system is nice. Great navigation and good amount of features. The problem is the interior with less than 10,000 mi on it has begun to make noises, the performance is less than ideal as it struggles to get up to speed. Not to mention extra weight in the vehicle and going up the hill is a challenge. The other problem is this vehicle has had multiple recalls in the one year that I've owned it. I bought this vehicle brand new off of the lot.

Good basic transportation

Bought the car when my car was totaled. As a senior citizen I do little driving and had to get an inexpensive car due to high annual property taxes. The car is functional but not sure I would use it for extended drives. I'm sure a younger driver would think differently.

It’s alright

The car ain’t that bad but it’s not gonna last a long time at all. I’m definitely going back to my MINI Cooper Countryman as soon as I pay this crap of a car down. It’s not worth the price tag at all.

Vehicle is fine dealership is prob

When I bought 2018 was prob. 2021 was fine I enjoy driving for 1 month then dealer upgrade software n MPP done engine got pressed, brake wasn’t good, features stopped working….remote start, wireless charger, Bluetooth, gps etc, then after 6 month re establish Bluetooth n work with gps but still mileage usage is wrong, wireless charger n remote start not working, they upgrade software n now denied to fix it then says it will cost, they did it. Paid for dent coverage for 1 yr n not willing to fix it says it will take days to fix it, they don’t fix dent then y convinced me to pay for coverage, 2cm dent they can’t fix it????

It’s ok

Vehicle is very stylish and sleek,has a great sound system, it’s ok on gas, but the pick up sucks. Getting on 95 is not very fun. Wish I had air vents for my back seats. Wish seats were a bit more comfortable.

My car would be great if there wasn't something wrong with the engine that can be fixed.

I love my car but I wish the engine light would stop coming on and my clock would keep time. I feel unsafe with my engine light being on. I drive a long way to work and back everyday. I would like to feel safe in my new car.
