Elantra

The dealership was very accommodating and very easy to deal with. The fuel economy is very good and the handling is easy and displays are conveniently placed. The styling and color make for an attractive vehicle in the driveway.

Great car, poor dealership

The dealership couldn't find the car and when they did, they only had one key. We took the car 2 days later and they still hadn't found the key. A week later and they still hadn't found it. They told us we needed to do the 2 hour drive (one way) because we needed to get a second key made up, this was after the on staff manager told us they had someone who could drive to us and make the second key here. After telling us the manager was mistaken we told the sales associate that we were not doing that and we needed to speak to his manager. They then managed to find the details of their mobile key maker. They told us he will call later today or tomorrow, and after not receiving any calls we had to call back and they then said they will remind him.. after another few days he called and a week later we got the second key. This entire process was nearly THREE WEEKS AFTER we had purchased the car.

Worth it.

I got the car for the gas mileage when driving long highway trips I am getting almost 50 mpg when I'm driving city I am getting 35-40. If you want something that isn't hard at the pump I think that's the one. Basically a great car for a teen driver or someone who is concerned about fuel prices.

Excellent car

Car is very nice in almost all aspects. Engine is smooth. Gas mileage is very good, I don't have a ton of stop-and-go driving, so I can keep in-town mileage above 30 mpg. Only has a few downsides. Tires are loud. Speakers don't have a very full range. Media controls leave a bit to be desired. No way to shutoff warning messages. Sure, some people might need them, but some don't. There should be an option to shut them off. Storage is a bit lacking. I think some could be added without taking away interior room. Off-idle fueling is not as linear as it could be. Might be fine for auto tranny, but not so much for a clutch. The sunvisor needs to be able to be positioned where needed.

Nice car. Value for money.

Good car but needs to improve in some areas. It has everything good but acceleration and braking is bit poor on which if they work then it's become fantastic car otherwise it's good car to buy considering money point and features.

I like it but I don’t love it

I wouldn’t buy it again. I think I made a mistake purchasing this car. I would recommend checking more vehicles before committing to this car. For me it’s not what I thought it would be but for others it might be a perfect fit. I’m under 3,000 miles and already have issues with car parts coming off and noticing damaging in the interior. In 100,000 it might not be worth anything.

A good choice overall for a new vehicle, especially given the competitive price. The electronics are exceptional and the car is fun to drive. Compared to other cars in the same class, the value for what you get is very impressive.

Nice Wheels Overall

Bought my 2021 Elantra new in March. It's been a good car overall, just some minor issues such as a bit sluggish on acceleration (But, my last car had a turbo engine, so much quicker, and I was used to that performance). It's a wicked sharp-looking car and has most of the current bells and whistles that new cars have today such as backup camera, Bluetooth, etc. Glad I'm part of the Hyundai family!

Check your options

There may be better options for the same money, but it really is a good looking car. It has a very solid feel but the power is lacking. Could use more storage on the inside and you could find another car with more features for less money.

Great gas mileage!

I love how easy it is to get around in it. Love passing up gas stations because it is so great on gas. Has a very good safety rating. The new cluster on the dashboard is awesome!! You can change up the look of the view of your screen.

The one thing I dislike in this car truly bugs me every timeSee below

Love the car, hate the odd bar between driver and passenger seat. Distracting,uncomfortable, others ask what is the purpose of this bar. Thinking of trading in already. Wish this could be removed. I am under 5’ tall. This piece truly distracts from the interior appearance. Wish it could be removed!

Love it

Drives and handles great. Overall sporty look. Great mileage. Very comfortable for hour long drives. Have had the car for about a month now, and still am very pleased with my purchase. Did notice exhaust noise (slight sputter sound) within a few hundred miles. Slightly distracting, but not an issue so far.

Car is good not great

I like the exterior of this car. The car is really designed to look like sports car. I love it. Safety features are nice, car is spacious. Interior is also very attractive. But I am saying not a great car because apple car in this car is useless. It comes online and goes back off and jumps again to normal. It happens all time I drive. AC does not cool car at least in few minutes even if I turn it on to full. In sunny day it’s really hard for AC to cool car down.

Elantra N Line

Vehicle has been great except for a problem with the drivers door handle. Will occasionally lock instead of unlocking. Problem has appeared and disappeared a couple times. Very concerning for a new car to have this problem.

Could be better.

Cons: Could have offered premium sound system in the N-Line models. Should definitely offer all season tires with the manual, instead of summer tires. I don't drive crazy, fuel seems to run out faster than my previous car. Pros: Zippy around corners, efficiently quick for a 1.6 turbo. Very fun with the 6 speed. Absolutely love the way it looks! So much room inside for a semi-compact car. Visibility is astonishingly good. Hyundai Elantra N line.

Okay

Looks better than all the plastic. Everything the car is plastic even under the hood. So much plastic for 28,000.00. CarPlay doesn’t work all the time. Transmission shifts hard. Cylinder head Gaskets blew after 9 days. Tools almost 6 weeks to repair. Should have gone to Ford.

My 5th Hyundai

Still brand new but has more shortcomings than my 3 previous Elantras which were also purchased new. I’m hoping all the bugs will be corrected at my 5000 mile servicing appointment. I hope that no more problems show up.

Enjoyable ride.

The Elantra handles and rides better than expected (with the exception of tire vibration). Very good gas mileage, with nice handling characteristics. The vehicle interfaces with cell phone very well.
