All Around Great Car

I have loved my Elantra the past almost two years. I got it with only 27 miles on it and now I am up to 70,000 miles due to it being our only vehicle at first. Now that I live closer to my job and we have two other vehicles I don't put as much milage on it. I will say the metal the car is made of definitely is on the cheaper side. I had the car for 4 months and I already had rust on my hood. It drives very smooth and just is very nice on the inside. I have had a couple times where my touch screen has geeked out, but never been a permanent issue.

Small, but gets the job done!

One year and 15,000 miles in and I am very happy with the car. Great gas mileage, comfortable, looks good, intuitive technology, easy to use everything; pretty much all of what I need for a fraction of the price of other vehicles in the same class. Couple gripes with some small stuff but every car is going to have a 'few' things to not like.

Its just an average car but so far it is mostly trouble-free.

It tries to make certain safety features that mostly fall short. Some of the safety and gas saving features simply don't work and very annoying to say the least.

Rides great, some design flaws

The vehicle rides great, more than enough pickup with great comfort. It does sit a bit too low for NYC driving, and the finish is impossible to keep clean, seems everything sticks to it. I had a professional detailing performed, but it did not help. Some other design flaws are, difficult to replace wiper blades and the headrest does not lock in the lowest position

The Silver Fox II

This is my 3rd Elantra and I got this one and the last new. My Elantra is great on gas, very quick when I need it to be, and has only had one issue since I bought it; the forward sensors refuse to work in the snow or freezing rain when I'm driving. My Elantra has served me well and I would buy this car again.
