Over Priced

Most of the sensors are useless. The keyless start doesn't do any good unless you preset the defrost, the rear window defrost can't be preset. You have to be sitting in the driver seat in order to press the rear window defrost, you can't reach from the passenger side to turn it on. The backup sensor alarm works when a car is behind, but doesn't work when people are behind the car.

Feature-Rich, but Over-Engineered Safety is a Dealbreaker

​Owned for 3 months/3,000 miles. Value and comfort are 10/10, but the performance is ruined by over-engineered "micro-safety" tech. ​The car is a minefield of false positives. Frequent steering "corrections," fuel cut-offs, and ECU interference make driving a constant battle against the software. ​The Real Issues: ​Forced Tech: No way to permanently disable these intrusions. The driver's choice is gone. ​Gaslighting Service: Dealers refuse to acknowledge it’s a widespread design flaw (well-documented on Reddit). Instead, they demand a 2-day "inspection" just to see if a problem exists

Is not good for the price , the Kona is a betrayer build and car

I regret the leading of this car , I had a Kona before and the Kona is much better vehicle than the Elentra , the motor is too noisy and vibrate too much

I love this car.

This is my second Elantra. The first one was a 2018 that I drove for 230,000 miles with no major problems, and I was getting about 40 mpg. With this new one, I have been averaging 44.2 mpg for the first 10,000 miles.
