I love my 2013 Genesis 3.8 Sedan

My Genesis is spelled “Gene’s is”. That means it’s MINE. I have made a couple of modifications to it to make it “mine”. I have changed the exhaust from the Catalytic converters back just because I wanted hear the engine sound as I drive. The GDI engine now has an oil separator installed to keep oil fumes from polluting and fouling the intake valves. I have installed 255/50x18 tires on the original wheels. I am extremely happy with the results and I now have a superb driving highway car.

Excellent car in both value and service

I was gladly surprised with this car, put over 50K miles in 5 years with no problems other than a twitchy window switch and a bottom dash pad become nigh unglued from the dashboard ( all fixed under warranty). Other than regular maintenance (oil, filters, wiper blades, and battery) the car was a complete delight. I enjoyed it so much that I sold the 2013 and bought a 2016 sedan to replace it. Just make sure the dealership you buy from is up to par in my experience Hyundai/Genesis dealerships in both sales and service matters is where Hyundai must improve. Genesis will never be a luxury brand if they continue to be sold at Hyundai dealerships. Luxury car sales require a level of attention and service which is not available at your regular Hyundai dealership.

It really is a good car! I enjoy driving it and I am happy to have purchased such a fine vehicle. It rides very smoothly! It does need a little outside body work, nothing major. The car seats at least four passengers very comfortablely!

2013 Hyundai Genesis

Great vehicle for the money if you are buying a used CPO auto..Wish it rode and handled more like a BMW, particularly on rough and uneven pavement. I previously owned a 97 & later a 2001 BMW 740IL model and they were the best driving and riding autos on all types of roads that I experienced.

Quality vehicle

Quality car that gets lots of compliments - looks way more expensive than it is. Love the performance of the R-Spec version. Great handling and ride. Lots of positive comments on the ride and how comfortable it is.

Best car I've ever owned

Good looking, comfortable, affordable, reliable. No trouble with this car, coming up on five years old. It is absolutely the smoothist ride. Don't think I'd ever buy another brand or model. Would like side cameras though.

Great Car

I love my 2013 Genesis. It is one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Good looks, tight and comfortable ride. Just a pleasure to drive. Great value for the money. Minimal maintenance expense. Still rides and looks like new. Couldn’t be happier. Up north I have a top of the line Jaguar and I’m not sure which one I like better and this one costs a lot less. Great car.

Luxury Car

Stylish, Quiet, good ride, awesome transmission, very responsive. Of all the cars I've tested the Genesis has the roomiest back seat. Over 5 years of ownership only a couple of minor problems with the back-up camera.

The incredible GENESIS

My 2013 Genesis is the most comfortable and best looking automobile that I have ever owned. I have had 5 Hyundai vehicles and while they are all great, this one is the top of the line. The reason for the 4 star vs a 5 star rating is that although this is Hyundai's top vehicles, it did not contain items such as rear view camera, or GPS. For a 'top of the line" vehicle, I would have expected both of these items, but other than that, I am totally happy with.

Genesis takes care of YOU

I'm extremely grateful to be the owner of a 2013 Genesis. The car is now five years old, and yet I continue to be impressed with the innovation that went into it. You want more words? I'll give you more words. One of the hallmarks of quality is ENDURANCE. I have almost 130,000 miles on the car, and I'm looking for about 500,000 before I have to trade. Think about it: I still get it serviced regularly and so quality means I SHOULD be able to put a half million miles on it!

MY Genesis

I' have always liked driving my Genesis from the time I first drove it off the lot up to nearly 98,000 miles and counting. Good looking. Great handling. Overall, I would buy one again and again and again. Thanks. Hyundai.

The Genisis is a well built vehicle which provides a comfortable ride and useful instrumentation. The safety features are numerous and in plain view. It appears to be designed to provide easy handling with plenty of power to accelerate when needed.

Review of my 2013 Genesis

Excellent car. Minor problems since I bought the car new 5 1/2 years ago. Basically, change the oil and filter and get the routine check up, change the air and cabin filter myself and drive. My Genesis drives the same as the day I bought it.

Hyundai has a solid winner in the Genesis models! Engineering and quality is there; prices compared to others is much less and they do not have to take a back seat to anyone. I like my Genesis and hope to have another!!

seating comfort - GPS - verbal control of GPS, phone, radio stations - cruise control with three choices to maintain space to vehicle in front of me - ride comfort - rear seat space - remote for unlocking doors and trunk - total reliability - just love the car

I am 83 years old and have owned a number of vehicles. This Genesis is by far the most efficient and comfortable automobile I have ever owned. Thanks Hyundai. I will hopefully buy another if I can ever part with this one.

Mr. & Mrs Smith

We love our 2013 Genesis.. Great Car. -. We do have an issue with a defective electrical component - Our driver side Controls for window/mirror/door locks OFTEN does NOT let us put the windows up or down... Sometimes works - sometimes Not..... Researching our problem - we soon read many many many other 2013 Genesis with the same "sometimes works" window button/controls. - we don't understand "WHY" this is not a Factory ReCall . This Control is over $300.00 + Installation.. new part only limited warranty. Not happy with this electrical defective part. Please consider a Recall on this part. Thank You. Love my car and how she runs great.....The feature on it are excellent. It has plenty of leg room. The factory tires as well as the system that came with the car is excellent. The body frame and built of car is very satisfying.
