Hyundai Ionig

When we began looking for a new vehicle the primary goal was to find a hybrid vehicle which was also comfortable, reliable, and spacious enough to haul gear for my business. We tested a number of vehicles, including the Volt, Bolt, Niro, and Prius in addition to the Ioniq. The Ioniq was the clear favorite for me in terms of ride, comfort, value, and amenities. We actually bought THREE in the space of four weeks: one for me, one for our son, and one for my husband!

Hyundai Ioniq

This is a nice car. It gives very good mileage of over 50 mpg. The range is very good at over 600 miles. The car looks very good and drives well. The car comes with a lifetime warranty on the battery which made the decision to purchase easy.

Awesome vehicle

Guess you could say "love at first sight". I was driving another Hyundai...t was okay...but as soon as I got behind the wheel...I knew this was the one for me. Gas mileage 50-54 mpg, very comfortable...even on long trips. Acceleration, handling, brakes, soundproofing, looks, design, carrying capacity, lots of bells and whistles...all exceeded my expectations and at a very affordable price. Looking for a new car...definitely check this out.

Love this car

This is the best hybrid on the market. I have always had an SUV and was a little nervous about doing with a car again. I felt like a kid. Such a joy to drive. On the road I would get 50 to 60 MPG in city 45 MPG. Doesn't get any better than that.

2018 Ionic Review

Very impressed with the layout of this car, lots of room Inside, I'm 5'10 245 on the thick side and have plenty of room..lol.. I reached 72 mpg on my commute home from the bay area, however I average 62 mpg according to the car reading even though Hyundai says it can get 54mpg. . The only negative thing I can say about this car is when your in the Bluetooth mode the out put volume isn't the best you literally have to raise your speaker voice to 39-42 decimals...

2017 Ioniq

This is the best small car that I've ever owned. The estimate 59 mpg, but I can easily get 60 to 62 mpg. I've even averaged 74 for a distance of 175 miles, but it was in a lot of bumper to bumper traffic and then open highway. Except for self driving you can't ask for much more. I have owned it for a little over 1 year and put 26,000 miles on it. So far so good! I have already recommended it to several friends.

Great vehicle for the money and efficiency, average about 50 or so a gallon driven about 38000 miles with no problems great overall feel on driving decent take off on soort mode, i also have the tech package realy impressed on all that the tech offers

love the car from the styling , to the fuel economy. Leased the vehicle and may buy it at conclusion of contract. The interior is very comfortable. I got the limited with additional safety features which i really like.

The gas mileage is great during warm weather but plunges during cold weather. Th interior is made up of poor plastic. The bumpers as well. The price is too high. I hope the new models specially the ioniq electric-hybrid get improved.

Great mileage vehicle. Excellent hybrid car from Hyundai. Easy to handle and good size monitor for music apps and backup camera. Very simple and easy to drive. Great commuter if long distance. Hatchback rear door does not pop up open by remote and A bit of disappointment

Six month review of the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq

In general, I like the car. It looks good, gets great gas mileage and was good value for the money. On the other hand... Two recalls in the first six months, paint is flaking on the rear bumper, gas mileage is good but not as good as advertised, service at the dealership reminds me of going to a used car dealer. I don't believe a word they say.

Did not expect to love this car that much. It is wonderful

Got this car to take place of a gas guzzling SUV for a daily driver. Best decision ever, the range is incredible given the size of the battery. Advertised at 124, I can get 145 out of this thing driving it spiritedly daily. Charges fast on a 16amp level 2 EVSE, and saves me over $300/month.

Good mpg

I love the fact that I get over 600 miles a tank. The most I’ve gotten out of a full gas tank is 670 miles. Not bad. One thing I don’t like is the estimated miles displayed on the dash. It’s always wrong. I’ll drive a mile and the display shows I’ve driven 10 miles. The estimated mileage is wrong but at the end of the gas tank it reaches closer to the estimate. I still wish it was closer to the actual miles driven though. I also wish it had more horsepower.

Recall concern

I went to the Hyundai dealership in Corona just for a simple oil change and they notified me that a recall was necessary and they fix the recall matter quickly. The service people are quite competent and I've had nothing but a positive experience with this dealership. Salesmen Eric Dance and Lavelle r also awesome..

Great car!

Fun to drive and great gas mileage. Would highly reccomend this vehicle to anyone with a long commute. It drives smooth, looks sharp, and so far has been very reliable. Also, Hyundai is a top of line manufacturer.

Concerned

I have taken it to the shop twice for check engine light. They said it was fixed both times. Has came on at least twice since then but goes back off before I can get back to the shop. Very concerned about future dependability.

Love our 2017 Ioniq!

When looking for a new vehicle I insisted on a hybrid for fuel economy. That being said we looked at all the available hybrids and was most impressed by the 2017 Hyundai Ioniq. The fuel efficiency, body style and “pep” has convinced us that we made the right choice!!

Love my Ioniq

I bought this vehicle about a year ago. I have been extremely pleased with this vehicle. It is comfortable, enjoyable to drive and of course most importantly, it gets 55+ mpg. In the winter the mpg is a bit lower, but in the spring, summer, and fall it consistently gets 55+ mpg. Each time i fill up the mpg guage resets, and my refil mpg was at 65. This has happened twice and several other tanks have been over 60. I told my wife that the excitement of getting a new vehicle eventually wears out, but the excitement of getting 55-60 mpg just never gets old. I love this car.

In one year, I have amassed 43000 miles, , so far so good! Just wish the full size spare and cargo cover were included. This is my third hyundai, and I know their quality and the company to do the right thing if I should have a problem!
