My ionic

This car is fun, sporty and a we love it. Just bought a Hyundai Accent because we feel they are good quality for the money. We get 60 MPG on the Ionic! I would recommend this car to anyone looking to save money on fuel and yet, have something fun to drive. The only con is the back split glass. Don’t like it at all.

My first hybrid vehicle and the extras I got with my SEL trim made me feel like I made a good choice. Just wish I waited a year to get Drive Assist instead of settling for the Lane Departure Warning.

Awesome

Awesome gas mileage, ride comfort and interior. Great price for a hybrid. Good set of tires from the factory. A lot of vehicle luxuries are standard on the Ioniq. All the options of a luxurious vehicle without the price.

Reasonable Gas Mileage

I love driving the Ioniq because I will spend about $30-$40 for gas per month. That is very reasonable price as well as the safety features I have, I am very comfortable. It will alarm you for change lane, warn you for any blind spot, alarm for seat belts, need gas, and many features. It has many features like bluetooth and you can call using voice command. I love it!

Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid

Needed a car that gave me the most mileage as possible. The Ioniq was the one that offered the best overall mileage. I do a great deal of highway driving over 170 miles a day. I have been getting between 50 - 53 MPG. Also, I never feel like I gave up anything as far as speed or comfort. I also do not baby this car, I got it to drive it & that is what I have done. Very, very pleased with the overall performance along with the mileage, comfort at a very reasonable price. I would recommend this car to anyone who has a great deal of windshield time.

Just keeps getting better and better.

Just got my Ioniq back from 37,500 mile service. This car just keeps getting better and better. I am still averaging 58 miles per gallon, even with my heavy foot! I do believe it is even smoother and quieter going down the road then ever before. The Michelin tires that came standard with the car still look and perform like new. I drive nearly 2500 miles per month and have had 0.0 issues with this car. I feel safe, secure, and comfortable in this car and have recommended it to all my buddies looking for a practical sedan that offers all this performance, economy, comfort, and safety.

Excellent vehicle

I love my Hyundai ioniq. It runs very smooth and is fun to drive. I love the sport feature. Also, the hatchback is ideal! The only thing I would say is that the interior design could be improved; I had requested black, and leather if possible.

Great sporty hybrid

Very pleased with our sporty Ioniq. Fantastic gas mileage, comfortable seating and nice interior with all the bells and whistles. Spacious back seat, great fabric easy to clean, side mirror alerts for cars passing on either side is fantastic for our daily highway driving. Rides great on highway as well even at speeds of 80s

Best car I have ever owned. Reliable, extremely fuel efficient. Easy to drive, comfortable. I have owned several Hyundai vehicles and this is hands down my favorite! I would highly recommend this fuel efficient vehicle.

I don't get anywhere near the advertised mpg.

Driving in a mostly conservative manner, I consistently get a combined MPG of around 46MPG. In SPORT mode, it's about 12% worse. It's quite peppy in sports mode which makes it more fun to drive. I do enjoy it's many features but am disappointed it doesn't have emergency braking. I have the top of the line model too.

Great mileage, Easy to drive

I really like my 2017 Ioniq. I bought it rather than a Honda or Toyota because of the lifetime battery warranty which is important in a hybrid. i get 50 mpg in city, 59 highway. looks good. Like the hatchback.

Economical and stylish

I have put 50K on my new Hyundai Ionic and had no problems. I get over 50 mpg on every sort of driving. Cabin and trunk space are good. I would highly recommend this car. Service has been exceptional as well.

First 12 months of driving

On June 3, I will have driven this car for a full year. It now has about 14,500 miles with most on the highway. I am an older more conservative driver and think nothing of driving 500 to 600 miles a day. The IONIQ Hybrid is a perfect companion with great driving qualities and fantastic fuel mileage. I have driven the car to Toledo, Ohio which is about 1700 miles from El Paso with many trips to Tucson and Albuquerque. Fuel mileage depends so much on weather conditions particularly strong winds in the western states. Fuel mileage has ranged from 44 to 59 mpg with an overall average of 50.5 which I think is great. The car is aerodynamic and there is little problem with front, rear and side winds. My preference is to not cruise at more than 70 mph on the interstates because the time difference to destination is minimal. I arrive more relaxed at this speed too and the design of the car including seats makes this possible.

Overall good purchase

So nice to have the good gas mileage, but it's not quite as high as they indicate. Comfortable ride and quiet cabin. Was told my speakers were the higher quality set because it was Limited trim but they aren't! Audio that has moderate bass sounds obnoxious and I've turned down the bass.
