Great Intro to the Hybrid, electric car market.

We have been impressed with the mileage, handling and overall performance. Very dependable. It is very responsive on the highway, and gives you a good road feel of confidence. We like the safety features, like blind spot alerts and backup alerts. Works great, and now a must have on any car, we chose.

Fun to drive and high in technology

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid offers the fuel economy, technology, appearance and suspension to satisfy the whole family. I've had friends, family and even strangers comment on exterior appearance. A friend who drives a BMW was blown away by the list of technology features available on the Ioniq.

Like it really love to drive it does great on fuel only one in town man I can't wait to buy another one. Recommended to friends and family everyone wants to drive it take this one on all the trips it is awesome LOL

Excellent vehicle

The car is more than I expected. I can average 62 mpg by being just a little light on the peddle. The performance in sport mode is again more than I expected. I have the middle model with the standard options. So far the reliability is great. I have had zero issues.

Great gas mileage and a comfortable ride

I have over 20,000 miles on this car the first year and it drives like a dream. It's a comfortable ride, even for me at 5'4" and family members who are 6'0" and 6'4". But, most importantly, I consistently get 54-56 mpg. The standard package is better than most other comparable cars and at a lower price. I would definitely recommend this car.

I never thought I’d buy a hybrid/electric vehicle. I always thought there would be no power driving up hills or mountainsides. Boy, was I wrong! My Ioniq has the power I need and not to mention an average 53-55 mpg isn’t half bad either!! Just saying...

This car met my expectations

I researched all 2017 hybrids before selecting the Ionic, basing my decision on price, features, and mpg. My car has 12k miles on it and I have had no issues so far. My day-to-day mileage averages about 48 mpg. The mileage drops at high speeds on the interstate and increases on low speed trips. I usually go a little over 500 miles between fill ups. The interior is very comfortable and the car has a lot of features. Though I have not needed any repairs so far, I do have a great warranty in the event that something comes up in the future. I did a lot of research before buying the Ionic and feel like this car is exactly what I expected it to be when I purchased it.

Excellent Hybraid Car

Exterior looks great. Interior is spacious and very comfortable. Excellent Gas mileage so far this year exceeding the expected range of 55 - 57 miles per gallon. Spacious luggage room in the rear of the car.

Good

It is a good car with good gas mileage there is lots of room for improvement as most cars do. The two biggest complaints I would have would be the viewing ability out the back window and whenever you come to a incline and almost stop the transmission seems to go into a neutral state.

The ioniq is a better alternative to a Prius, and is much better looking. Handling is good, but limited by the type of tires. Accident avoidance features (lane departure, front impact, etc) should be added to the base model. Seats are comfortable and seaing material is excellent, like a upgrade german car. The entertainment system is simple to use and does not distract from driving. I do not get 55+ MPG, but averaging around 47 MPG is still terrific.

Great Looking Vehicle with Superb MPG

The Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is positioned to be a Prius killer. It has better gas mileage than the Prius and is even better looking. When shipping for a new car I was focused on the Prius. But after investigating I found that if I wanted Blind Spot Monitoring I would have had to go to the top trip line at over $31,000. I looked at the Kia Niro and the Ioniq and found that they offered better value for the money--especially the Ioniq. The Ioniq I purchased was about $4000 less than the Prius. With the Ioniq I have all the safety features and saved money in the process. It's a well-made car and will serve me well for many years.

Wow!

We've had 4 Hyundai's over the last 6 years and loved each one. But the Ionic is something special. Do I start with my 52.6 mpg average? Or, the comfort and confidence when driving the Ionic? How about the terrific handling or the quiet interior? People stop me all the time when the car is parked and ask what it is. Pretty simple, I show then the badge. One time a man was on the ground looking under the car, he couldn't believe it was a hybrid. Yup! the Ionic is a keeper, that's for sure. And, I don't see one passing by every day. Some kind of special.

Great commuter vehicle. I commute 500+ miles a week and fill up for about $21. I wouldn't want to do a coast to coast trip in it, but zipping to and from work it's great. Radio is cool that you can rewind stations (up to 10!!) Average about 45 mpg with the highest being 51.

Ioniq Hybrid Blue

I really love the gas mileage this car gets as I drive a lot of highway miles. At first I was not getting the mpg it claimed but as I have been driving it, it has gotten a lot better and I am very pleased. I have a base model and it has many extras that you would not normally have. If you’re focused on saving gas, this is the car for you!

Great fuel economy great warranty

Excellent fuel economy you can get anywhere from 45 mpg to 75 mpg (I am currently at 70.1 but have been as high as 92) and with a 6 year warranty you have a piece of mind its not going to cost you an arm and a leg. Handles well even in snow conditions good power from a hybrid.

Nice ride

I am very satisfied with my Hyundai Ionic. It is proving to be a reliable car. I drive 180 miles each day. The Ionic is holding up so far. I’m feeling like as it gets broken in the mileage may not be as high as when it was newer. Visor too big. Blocks rear view mirror. Too short on driver side for a shorter driver.
