2013 Sonata not as good as the 2004 & 2005
I loved Sonata's I had 2 and loved them and had 5 of my family members buy Hyundai's on my recommendation. After getting hit by a another car while parked on the side of the road, I called my salesman from the ER to get another. I had researched Sonata's for 2 years before I got my 1st. This 2013 is horrible in comparison. The lights do not stay on long enough for me to walk to my front door. And when you try to unlock it to have the lights come on again, they do not come on again, so I have to walk to the door in the dark. The driver's door constantly closes on me when trying to get out of the car. the remote type is so sensitive that when you put the keys in your pocket, the trunk constantly opens. The timing on opening the car is too quick, it re-locks before I can get to the car. The seat belt traction gets stuck all the time so you have to manually adjust it. I mentioned it 3 times to service especially this last time with the seat belt recall, but it is not fixed. I have to put the seat lower as the steering wheel does not go up high enough for me to sit comfortably. Bad gas mileage. The seats stain.The Bluetooth feature is hard for people to hear as it is not clear. when you put the defrost on, no matter what the temp, the A/C unit comes on. so you have to pull over to adjust it. Likes-- the traction control is very helpful. The hands free calling is good except it is not clear on the sounds. Big Trunk size. love the heated seats.
