Hyundai Sonata 2013

My 2013 Hyundai Sonata generates of mix of values for me. It is a great looking vehicle; it has a lot of great features and high-tech offerings (Blue Link, Satellite Radio, GPS, etc.) But the "big car feel" is gone. At times, the ride is jerky, accelerates unevenly, and the braking system is clunky (even after being inspected and rendered safe).

My Sonata

Waited a long time to buy a new car. The Sonata has turned out to be the best investment that we made. I travel 100 miles a day round trip to work. Ride is smooth and comfortable. Best seats we have ridden on. Trips to Texas and Canada are extremely pleasurable. On long trips gas mileage is great, around 35 mpg. Very reliable vehicle. We have put on 260,000 miles on our 2013. Very durable car. Customer service always looks after us. We couldn't be more satisfied. Looking forward to our second Sonata.

I love my Hyundai

My Sonata se is the best car I’ve ever owned. Very reliable. Best gas Mileage. I love the sports suspension and the sleek look! I wish I had a sun roof! I bought this car certified pre owned so I didn’t have the option for sun roof!

I love my car

I bought this car 2 years ago and i love the comfort and style. My son and I are tall so comfort was important, and I like the color also the extra compartments. This is the first car I'm truly proud to have.

2013 Sonata

Best car I have owned. Roomy, yet great gas mileage. I drove it from Indianapolis to Tempe, AZ, and got 34 miles per gallon, even driving around for 18 days. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle.

Excellent Gas mileage

I own Sonata for 4 years and I did 75000 miles. Didn't have any issues so far it's good and reliable car. The car is spacious comfortable and handles good on the road. The maintenance is affordable and very easy.

The Hyundai one hundred thousand mile, ten year warranty is a great thing. I have been the beneficiary of it twice in the six and one half years I have owned the vehicle. But the reason I bought the car is because of its lines. The sloping lines from back to front makes the 2013 sonata look streamlined and crouched as if ready to spring ahead. The 2013 model is the best. Unfortunately, Hyundai has changed these lines in the current models and for me have lessened the appeal and attractiveness of the car.

Excellent quality and luxury for the price!

We have a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe we bought brand new, and a 2013 Hyundai Sonata we bought used in 2014 (from Eastern Shore Hyundai). We still have BOTH vehicles, and love them! The ride on the Sonata is very sporty and fun, although I have read where the dealership can adjust it to ride more smoothly if that's not your thing. Ours is fully loaded, with bluetooth capability to pair your phone: if you don't have this, you have no idea what you're missing, and you need to get it ASAP. We change the oil in this vehicle every 7000 miles, and outside of basic (very rare) upkeep items and the occasional recall (free), we never have to do anything with this vehicle, and it runs the same now, as the day we got it! The trunk is surprisingly spacious--deeper even than the Santa Fe. My husband and I joke that we could hide a body there and no one would ever know (we haven't tried it yet though, just in case anyone is wondering). I have only two complaints, and they are very minor: the paint on the steering wheel center (surrounding the power steering buttons and volume/voice control buttons) begins to peel off after several years of use. The paint also peeled off of the chrome grill on the Santa Fe, but Hyundai seems to have fixed this issue, as we've noticed no damage on the grill of the Sonata. Overall, these cars run well, and presumably for a VERY long time. We now have 104,000 miles on the Sonata, and over 240,000 miles on the Santa Fe, just for reference!

This is a good dependable car

The pros: The Sonata is a very dependable car. It's roomy, we like the lines of the body. We will definitely plan to look at the Hyundai line when we buy another vehicle. The cons: The road noise level in the Sonata is very high and the ride is not smooth. These are areas where we will look for improvements.

This is the best car in many ways. I am satisfied with this car. Hundai is giving a great guarantees as well. I will recommend this car to my friend. I bought a previous car from Hundai. I did not have any problems with this car. Hundai Automall is giving good service all the time.

Great Car.

The best car I've ever owned. Performs like a champ and fun to drive. Has good acceleration when going up hills when you need it. I love the sharp turning ability. Even with my lead foot, it gets great gas mileage on open roads and has a smooth comfortable ride.

Love Love Love our Sonata Limited 2.0 Turbo!

We bought our Sonata in 2013! It has been beyond our expectations! It still runs like new! Lots of miles, lots of places! Very sweet to look at and drive! Worth every cent! It has surpassed the time we expected to have to replace it and we will definitely looking for a new Sonata soon!

Beautiful car

This is my third Hyundai and 2nd Sonata, couldn't be more pleased, Has all the bells and whistles to make commute bearable. Since I moved from a mid-sized pick-up back to cars, have owned Hyundai's specifically Sonata's and have not been disappointed in the longevity, durability and lack of major mechanical issues.

Love my Hyundai Sonata

Fuel efficiency, comfort, convenience, and style are my favorite things about my 2013 Sonata SE. Great commuter car that doesn’t break the bank at the gas station. At the same time it has a spacious interior that comfortably fits myself, my wife, and our son. Also love the heated seats, power driver seat with lumbar, and leather bolstered seats. Convenience wise, the keyless entry and push button start is great when I’m on the go. No fumbling around with keys, just keep the fob in my pocket and I can lock, unlock, open the trunk, and start the car without the fuss. Lastly, and one of the main reasons I purchased the Sonata, I like the looks. Brings a smile to my face seeing parked in the driveway.

Engine noise

The issues I have is that one the engine when you crank it always has a rattle that I’ve beem told by several mechanics that it is the timing chains and has been doing this since I bought my 2013 model in 2014. The car also has issues blowing headlight and tail light bulbs. I have replaced them numerous times already!

My second Hyundai. Currently, the third in my family. The Sonata is my fave!!!

My Sonata is super reliable and has incredibly low maintenance needs. It has great gas mileage and plenty of room. It is truly a class act for this single mom one car with two drivers family. Thank you, Hyundai!!!

Hyundai Sonata loaded with features, style, outstanding warranty

I owned 2 Sonatas 2004/2013. I will buy another Hyundai next year, perhaps Tucson or Santa Fe. Easier to get in and out of at 70. The warranty is a no brainer. Outstanding features and styling. Great value!

We have had this car for 4 years now, and we still think it is the best car we have owned. Dependable, stylish, and plenty of room which impresses our friends. This is our second Sonata, so we are a believer in the quality and comfort that it provides. And excellent gas mileage, too.

Love my Hyundai

I have had no problem since purchasing this car about 2 1/2 years ago. It runs well, it rides nice on the road long distance and it's good on gas. I previously had a Hyundai Elantra and I plan on staying with the Hyundai brand. I get my normal maintenance every year on time, I take good care of my car, and it's gonna last me a long time because of the quality of this car.
