Service Department

Had issues with air bag sensors not going off. They took the time to research and find the problem and get it corrected. They took my car in and provided me with car to drive during this process which was a great help.

Great Servise with a smile.

I have had great service with a smile from everyone and all necessary repairs and costs are explained before any worked is started. The waiting room has very comfortable seating,free coffee, soda and water. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Best car ever

Love the color, love the 2.0 Turbo..never feel I have to floor the gas to get on a ramp to the highway. Every recall has been minor and swiftly taken care of at a Hyundai dealer. The car is comfortable and even on a long drive you never feel cramped or needing a break from just sitting. The audio system is excellent. Gets excellent gas mileage. This is my third Hyundai..have had an Elantra hatchback, a SanteFe and now the Sonata and I plan to drive this one til the wheels fall off! Never want to give it up!!

Best Car for Value and Reliability

I choose the Sonata for my Vehicle of choice for my work & personal use after a year of research. I love the Performance of my 2.0L Turbo and with exceptional smooth and quite ride for Sports model. The best part is the Fuel Mileage for Turbo 4 Cylinder, I average 30-32MPG consistently and since most of my travel is Highway, I still get 26-28MPG in City. I have over 180,000 miles on my Sonata and no sign of any sluggish performance. The Cost of ownership after purchase is what really made the choice of Hyundai Sonata. The leg room is very accommodating even tall passengers. The only issue is height of headroom but, not a major setback for me. For me, this car was the best decision and will always be a customer of Hyundai.

Great Car

The best car that we have owned. We had a Mercedes and it was a lemon and pure electronic & mechanical. I would never buy another Mercedes. I will purchase another Hyundai without question. Just very pleased with it.

Love My Sonata

I love my Sonata. When my old 2011 hit 120,000 miles, I traded it in for a 2014. I liked the 2011-2014 model styles so much better than the latest style, so I found a 2014 with only 10,000 miles on it, and bought it immediately. Was in perfect shape!

2014 Sonata

I generally like the car but have a few complaints: 1. the driver's seat lumbar control isn't up to the job. 2. the head rest is too far forward, pushing my head forward, rather than resting on my shoulders. The head rest can't be adjusted. 3. on wide freeway curves, the car doesn't hold the road securely over about 50-55 mph.

This is our third Sonata. We like it for the comfort and gas mileage.

We are doing a lot of traveling since we retired and the Sonata has been perfect for us. We visit with family and friends all over and the ride and comfort and gas mileage are amazing. We have been pleased with the performing of the car.

I have had my sonata for 5 years and never had a problem. The car handles great and it is very fuel efficient. Gates has done a great job of servicing my vehicle. This car has the best warranty of any car I have owned.

Perfect size car, fowerful, and fuel efficient. Rides like a larger car.

Purchased car used from CarSense. It was "as new" when I took delivery. I have not been disappointed with anything regarding this Hyundai. I had doubts that a four cylinder engine would perform as well as this engine does. I might try the six on my next Hyundai purchase.

Best car I have owned in my lifetime. Absolutely no trouble with this car.

Love this automobile. This is the third Hyundai I have owned and they keep improving on all aspects as opposed to prior model. Gas mileage is above average for the size of sedan and comfortable on long distance driving.

substandard electrical components

I have been in a loaner vehicle for about 6 weeks total for 3 times my vehicle had to be in for repairs for parking sensor, electrical harness and knock sensor. In addition, the $250 battery only lasted for 3 years. The vehicle has less than 80,000 miles on it. I did not have any problems like this with my previous vehicle, a 2004 Elantra. I do appreciate the excellent warranty that comes with the car. That may keep me in a Hyundai in the future.

Safe and fun to drive

Safe and fun to drive Great gas mileage Before I bought this car, I tried the Camrey, the Accord, Chysler 200. When I got in it and closed the door, my first reaction was "this thing is solid" Feel very safe in the car.

My 4th Sonata

Never thought I would own a "foreign" car but the sales and service people at Hyundai totally changed my mind. I love the Sonata and on my recommendation 5 friends now own Hyundais and are happy with them. I have never had a problem with the Sonata and they have all been completely reliable.

Dependable

Only quirk I have is that the passenger seat for the model I bought has no height or lumbar adjustment. Other then that it has proven to be a very reliable car. Design is very nice as are interior features. Great radio, very good air conditioning and heating. For the size engine in this car it has more then ample pickup.

Service great... cautious about repair costs

Recently had my wife's Sonata repaired due to defroster not working. The cost of repair was 1500.00. As it was explained the dash had to come of for the repair, so the labor cost escalated. Still seems outrageous.

Great experience with this car.

I'm sure there are a lot of different opinions about this model based on each individuals experiences with their own car. However, all I can tell you is that we bought our 2014 new and we have 47,000 miles on it and during that time it has never been to the service department for any problem what so ever. Not even a loose screw. The only thing we've had done is oil and air filter changes. That's it. The reliability of our car has exceeded our expectations and I am looking at trading for another one.

Great Warranty!

I have now bought or leased 5 Hyundais from Jenkins in Leesburg for myself and my daughter. I buy a Hyundai because of their warranty. They stand by their cars! No problem if there is a problem. I just bought my 5th car, turning in my Sonata. Loved it.
