My 2017 Hyundia Sonata
Started out looking for a cheap 3 year old sedan to be used for around town (driving the mini van was killing me at the pumps). Once I started looking at features and cost, I found that buying a new vehicle would be more economical due with the piece of mind of a full car warranty. So was hoping to get a real good deal on a year end closeout of the 2016, but managed to get a much better price on the 2017 and even found one with every feature we needed (rear view camera, blue tooth, good millage and room for the kids).
Now about the car. The car rides very smoothly, engine has good power and handling is good. It definitely will not mistaken for a sports car, but for an every day take the kids to school it performs that job very well. I do have admit the tires are not the greatest and I look forward to replacing this set with a better performing set. The seats are alright, may have issues if riding for more then three hours, but is good for around town use. Could use more bolster in the lumbar area.
For a base car, it has a lot of features that 5 years ago would only be found on the top model and that surprised me. Build quality is good, no rattles while driving and the paint finish is very good. Very roomy interior, which can fit two kids in booster seats and carry a weeks worth of groceries in the trunk. Also the trunk is easy to get items into and out of.
Unfortunately, have not had the car long enough to get enough data on gas mileage, but so far it is better then a mini van. In the end I am satisfied with the car and am happy to include it in my small fleet of cars.
