My car is only 11 Mont’s Old and has 57208 mile on it only problem I have with this Vehicle is enoying noisey wipers and continuous Lane departure failures

Still a Hyundai Fan (with Caveats)

I’m now on my third Sonata and am generally a big fan of Hyundai vehicles. But a couple of nuisances that persist with this 2017 Sonata: 1. Driver side seat heater has failed to work since driving off the lot...and Hyundai still hasn’t resolved (but they’re trying). 2. Actual MPG is far less than sticker rating. I’ve been mindful about how I drive to try to maximize MOG, but I still can’t get close to the rated levels. Disappointing. 3. Auto-shut-Off for fuel filling engages even when tank is about empty...I have to hold fuel nozzle “just so” throughout fill up to avoid triggering of auto shut off. Frustrating. That said, I still love the driving and handling of the Sonatas. I find their appearance appealing. And the interior space is definitely best in class (with a 6’5” husband and generally tall family...this is critical). If minor nuisance problems can be resolved, I’ll remain a loyal Sonata owner. Still a great deal for the price paid!

Sonata Performance

After 1 year everything appears to be functioning as good as it did when purchased. Has good power, but not great. Don't know why it doesn't come with a 6 cylinder engine (like they used to) instead of the 4 cylinder or at least offer it as an option. It's a big car and needs more power. Sometimes getting on a busy freeway you need to put it to the floor to get enough speed up to get in the flow of traffic. Other then that the car handles very good, comfortable and enough room for any size passenger, front seat and back. I probably wouldn't get another Sonata because of the power issue, If they offered a two door coupe I would be tempted to get one.

Nice ride, good design, good technology, good computer, nice sunroof, GPS, and hard leather. Not bad color inside. Beautiful color and design car outside. Good engine running which is important to drive longer and save my pocket.

very nice vehicle to drive, could use better heat and cooling system for rear seat passengers. Good gas mileage. Nice lines to vehicle. I would recommend a better tire option so it is better in snow. We purchased seperate snow tires for safety. I am a tall person and when driving vehicle if I use armrest on door it feels to high and uncomfortable.

So far so good !!

So far I have been very pleased with my Sonata, My best friend had a Sonata and hit a parked car on the Missouri River Bridge in the fog doing 70 mph with NO seat belt that was enough for me to buy one !! I am more than pleased. It is roomy decent on gas and I enjoy driving it.

2017 sonata

Better handling than previous model, smoother ride. Power of vehicle reduced greatly by AC. Heater is very slow but AC works well! Sound system needs improvement in all areas: tonal quality, highs/lows, etc.

Good vehicle

Good car. Sport model is not for me. Very sluggish unless driven in SPORT mode. Dash board lights cause a distraction because they flash bright on and off. Good car. Sport model is not for me. Love my car

Love my car. Only negative thing so far is the tires that came on the car aren’t the best for bad weather. Other than that it’s definitely the best car I’ve driven. It has a lot of bling features that are very nice to have.

i love this car!

The ride is very smooth and luxurious for a car of this size and price. My Sonata is "loaded" so I have wonderful bells and whistles to make driving fun and pleasant. I don't know how anyone lives without Car Play! You can dictate your texts via Siri and keep hands on wheel and eyes on road! Very comfortable car, very nice ride.
