Great Car! Paint Quality on Bumpers Less Than Average

My car was purchased brand new in May and during a routine car wash the paint chipped off front bumper. Not happy about this at all and there is nothing that can be done on dealership level. I would love for Hyundai to assist me with this matter.

Too much gas pedal lag

Nice car. Sharp look, comfortable interior, great panoramic sunroof. Very nice. The lag time between depressing the gas pedal & actual acceleration is annoying & very disappointing, though.

Average, Alright Vehicle

Overall, I like my car but there are some hits and misses. Some of the Pros: Beautiful and sleek looking Comfortable and roomy Interior is tech savvy yet elegant Has three different drive modes that suit your drive style (Normal, Eco and Sport) Good Gas Consumption CONS: The A/C and Heating feels buggy - Feels like my heat is never all the way off, I feel heat through the vent even when the fan is on 0 (Maybe the heat off the engine but I don't know if it's a good sign). Door stays unlocked when engine is on - In some cases this is good and bad. This prevents you from locking your keys in the car. However in the winter time, you can't securely run your car while still in your home without auto start. Alarm system is crap - The sound of my alarm sounds like a clowns horn and it seems like is can be bypassed easily. Sometimes I open my trunk while the car is locked and the alarm goes off, other times it doesn't. I was told I had to pay to have the alarm system changed from what it is now. Feels "shaky" at 70mph and up - Might be the stock tires but this is what I notice. Head space is cut low - I'm 6ft so I hit the ceiling a lot when I'm leveled with my windshield at a comfortable space. Going low on the seat pushes me to far back which I don't like. As I mentioned, I like the car but it could've had improvements. At the price point i purchased mines for, more could've been expected.

2017 Hyundai Sonata after 3 months

This car has many bells and whistles but you should find out how long the car has sat on the lot before you purchase it. Also find out how it is suppose to handle on wet surfaces So far the one I have slides around on the road anytime the roads are wet. Also unless you have the push button start option the blue-link option isn't worth the price. .The option doesn't work with just the remote starters.

Salesman need show more interest in customer

I probably would enjoyed it more if Eric Coleman would have shown more interest ,he actually spent the bare minimum time with me I was left waiting 45 minutes to 1 hour before returning for that reason I’m considering not returning,I’ve informed the sales manager about this problem,

Hoping nothing else goes wrong

I got a 2017 Huyndai Sonata in August. The back seat safety belts had to be replaced almost immediately after purchasing the car, then the carpet on driver side would not stay glued and I took the car back to the dealer 3 or 4 times. They then told me the whole carpet had to be replaced. This is number 6 Huyndai and never had no trouble out of the other brand new ones we purchased. So I hope this is it.

Sonata Hybrid

I am disappointed with the mileage I get, the seat belts not retracting, trunk size, and poor handling in the snow. i am lucky to get 37 MPG on the hwy. Other than that, to fix a routine recall it took 3.25 hours because it was a hybrid.

I was told when I purchased my car that the only color left in the state was the black one outside. I wanted the limited because it had some nice features but not all the features I wanted. I liked the parking assist and the fact that the remote start was right on your key fob. Those are two things Hyundai should incorporate into their vehicles. I feel like I was lied to truthfully and that I wasn't given any color options at time of purchase. If it had just said no and gone elsewhere to see what else was available I think I would have found something else and wouldn't have to deal with the black paint

Great Car but the seats are horrible

The front seats are tilted at a fixed angle and they are the most uncomfortable seats I have ever experienced. It's ridiculous that they can't be tilted. To pay another 4 thousand dollars for a power seat is absurd

Hyundai Sonata Purchased March 2017

I used to own a Camry (for 16 years), so I’m constantly comparing the two vehicles. The Camry had a much smoother ride (maybe it had higher quality shocks). I hear a lot more road noise in the Hyundai. I remember when I first bought the Camry (it was bought brand new), I definitely got that “new car” feeling. It felt that way through many years of driving. It was a dream to drive; it was responsive, smooth, and quiet. I’ve owned the Hyundai for one year, and I can use none of those words to describe the Hyundai.

Not like my old Sonota

My last vehicle was a 2004 Hyundai Sonata. I had very few problems with it. When I thought of a new car I thought of getting the same since it was so dependable so I got a 2017 Hyundai Sonata After a horrible sales experience I didn’t even want the car. Ricart ruined my joy of getting a new car.It looks nice but it’s hard to keep in the lane. You barely touch the steering wheel and it veers all over the place. Also there are numerous blind spots So it’s hard to say when you make turns from different directions.

Not the car I expected

I really wish I had not purchased a Hyundai vehicle at all. There are a lot of great things about my car but the problems I had from day one has taught me a lesson about Hyundai's so it will be my last.

Very little floor heat

I am a first time leaser. Overall my sonata is comfortable, good mpg, and stylish. I am average to below average on the interior. The vehicle has a poor design for floor heat, in other words my feet freeze in the winter time. I have the floor heat blasting at full fan speed and set at highest temp but wow very little floor heat. Come to find out when I took in for service I was told that was the way it was designed. I also have a water leak on drivers side floor behind dashboard. Service was unable to find out where it was coming from. Can't drive it when it rains and very little in the winter because no floor heat. Have use vents and my upper body sweating while feet freezing. Good thing this is a lease and I will be handing in. I still have 1 and half years on my lease which is a big bummer. With all the high reviews for Hyundai I am disappointed with this vehicle, maybe I just got a lemon. Has quite a bit of road noise and tire quality is poor especially when raining.

Quality of overall vehicle

I think when a vehicle is a top seller it begins to be manufactured in a more quick process due to customer demand. The quality control no longer is in place because it becomes a matter of just getting it out into the market...

It gets carb. build up too easy. I think all that should be covered in the warranty. I think you all know the carb builds up in these cars, Your Genesis does it, Just about all the mechanics says they have problems with this,

I have had the sonata in the past and this one just doesn’t feel like it is well built. It sways to the left and no one can feel what I do. Great on gas fun to drive but is not good in the snow at all

Luxury at an affordable price

It was my first new car and I decided to splurge. The car runs great. It's a luxury car, leather seats and love the sunroof. It's a very roomie and comfortable car. It fills up on $50 of gas. I love the car. There is a difference when get out of a Toyota Camry and the Sonata. The doors on the Camry and entire car feel heavier and more solid. Radio system could be better.
