horrible defect and safety concern with dashboard reflection
I purchased this car in February 2019 based on safety, warranty, price and style. As a single mother of two young children, safety, warranty and longevity were most important. Shortly after my purchase, I noticed significant reflections of my entire dashboard in the windshield, always. This has been a constant distraction in my vision while driving. I have been contacting the company and dealership since July 2019 about my concern. I am either dismissed or told that they never heard of this before, but it is also not a defect. I would like to know then, how an apparently "rare" safety problem isn't considered a design flaw or defect?
I am very unhappy about this and would appreciate Hyundai resolving this problem for me before I have a major accident with my children in the car.
My driver side seatbelt also doesn't always retract properly.
Drivability and the engine, bluetooth functions, drivers assist functions seem to be functioning well. The car is spacious as well.
I would never recommend this car. I previously had a Mazda for 16 years and it was amazing the entire time. My decision for this car was mainly their 10 year warranty package. It was a big mistake, I had done research prior to purchasing, but unfortunately did not know to research about the reflections. Since my purchase, I have found many reviews about this online.
