My Second Sonata

I have owned many new vehicles over the years including Lexus, Acura, Mazda, Ram, Toyota and others. Since I retired 23 years ago, I have owned a 2004 Mazda 3i, a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, and a 2015 Ram 1500 Bighorn 4WD. The Mazda I gave to my daughter-in-law, and the Sonata I gave to my granddaughter, who took it with her to Germany. This left us with just the Ram. We loved each and every one of these cars, but when it came time to purchase a sedan for "touring" it was a slam dunk to get the new 2020 Sonata in Limited trim. It gives more "bang for the buck" than anything we had before.

Sydney on 2020 Sonata Limited

I love this car! It replaced my 2014 Hyundai Sonata Limited. I drive 30 miles each way to work the night shift as an intensive care nurse, so I need a reliable car. I bought the car now with the plan to pay it off before I retire. The "heads up display", numerous safety features and cameras make it an incredibly safe vehicle. The double sunroof combined with the sporty look makes me feel younger. How can you beat that?

Just drive it, you’ll love it!

The new Sonata is everything a driver would want in a car. I upgraded from a manual transmission 2010 Sonata to a 2020 Sonata SEL and it’s the best decision I could have made for the money. Absolutely awesome value for the car and the warranty if you buy or lease it new. A+ service at the dealership!

2020 hyundai Sonata

This is our first Hyundai, my wife was looking for a car that was safe and was priced just right. She first found that she liked the elantra but it was a bit smaller than she wanted a car to be. So after researching safety, & styles of different vehicles she found that the Sonata was what she was looking for. The safety ratings were excellent, the price was right and the style was beautiful. We both love the new Sonata. This is our very first brand new car, it had 9 miles on it, my wife even picked out the color. We couldn't ask for a better vehicle. I really don't know why we waited so long to buy a Hyundai. The style of the 2020 is stunning.

Incredible cool design but........

Couldn't wait for the new sonata to arrive given that i was a 2018 owner and this was going to be a total redesign,Hyundai has not missed the mark with the new body style and the paint is something i get compliments on all the time. However there are somethings they miss the mark on such as, the stereo once again is so so( i own the SEL Plus) and you will have to spend big bucks for the limited for a better system, not sure who thought it was funny to not put in a light in the glove box (not cool at all) as well as no light in the center console,. Another cool feature but something to get use to is the electronic shifter (no shift knob) but the electronic emergency brake which engages itself at times is truly annoying. Overall a cool car which i'm still discovering things about. I have had to take in for service after smelling antifreeze in the first week of ownership (no leaks) and found out it was a temperature sensor which the great team a Darcy Hyundai replaced promptly (at no charge of course) and one last thing to be aware of is the three year complimentary maintenance, this is something new and they're still working out the kinks so get it explained to you in detail so you understand how it truly works.

Stunningly Awesome Vehicle

Great value for the price. Has everything you can think of. Such a joy to drive. I just love everything about this car and I absolutely enjoy driving it. Handles great and rides smooth. Love all the technology included in the Limited package.

2020 Sonata Limited

Best car I have ever owned. I have received many comments on it. I keep learning more about it every day and it’s accessories and extras. Gas mileage for a 1.6 ltr turbo is excellent. Great Job Hyundai.

A sleek designed vehicle that is a practically a computer on wheels! Luxury with out luxury price! Fun to drive and handles great!! The safety features are remarkable and were very helpful in teaching our student driver how to stay in the lines!

My dream car

This car and the new overall modifications are tops. I loved my 2015 Sonata Limited but this Sonata tops that one. Thank you Hyundai. You outdid yourself. Love the 1.6 turbo engine. Love how I can start the car on my digit key from inside my house.

Love it!!!

I love everything about this car! The styling is unique & eye catching. The technology surpasses all the other brands I looked at during my vehicle search (Nissan, Toyota, Honda, Mazda). My previous vehicle was a 300 hp V6 & I’m pleasantly surprised that I don’t miss it going to a 190 hp 4 cylinder turbo! The Sonata has great torque! Another thing is Hyundai offers the best warranties across the board!

Well done Hydunai

Overall it is a very nice automobile. Given that we've only had the automobile for a month or more, it is very hard to give an extensive summary of the vehicle. But initially, all indications are that The vehicle should hold up very nicely.

Awesome Car

Basically the turbo is great. The headlights/grille looks awesome. Interior is full of tech other cars of a higher class don’t even have. Interior design is comparable to luxury vehicles, other cars in the sonata class suck comparatively.

Love the car

I’ve had Sonatas for several years. Love everything about it Except..they do not have a light blue to choose. I had a beautiful light blue Genesis in 2010 but no more light blue color. The 2020 Sonata’s front passenger seat is extremely low. The 2017 had an automatic seat raise. You feel like in a hole, escape when you’re short. Maybe leave off a few other extras for this in the future models.

Very high tech

I'm Enjoying My New Car

For me this model exceeded the 'hype' of the Super Bowl commercial. I love the products manufactured by Hyundai as I've been a customer since 2007. The vehicle performance has always impressed me and this new model isn't any different. I do recommend test driving it more than a few minutes. I was able to get a 2020 Sonata as a loaner when my old car was been serviced, a nice perk from Patrick Hyundai service center. This will give you a feel for some of the new safety features. Although I'm a repeat Hyundai customer, I wasn't open to trading in my 2015, I was satisfied. But after test driving the 2020 Sonata it was easier for my husband to change my mind, we both goth what we wanted, he was right it was time to trade in and I got a new car - win win.

Great car

I loved my 2012 Hyundai Sonata and was going to keep it for the duration until someday they improve the mileage and added a ton of safety features which they did in 2020. I love the drive I love the style I hope I will be overall as satisfied as I was with my 2012.

Great Sedan

Love the car. Only thing I dislike is the position of the speedometer. It is to the left of the tachometer in the digital gauge cluster, and prefer it on the right side, as that is traditionally how all my cars have been.
