Love the looks and handling of this car
Hadn't considered another sedan when we began our search for a new vehicle. Both my wife and I assumed that we would get an SUV/Crossover and that is what we focused on. After lots of research and a few test drives, we settled on the Hyundai Santa Fe. However, even though the dealer had lots of 2020 Santa Fe's on the lot and the 2021's were due to be delivered within a month, they had no interest in dealing on the price, so after several failed attempts to get them to come down a couple thousand, we started looking at the Sonata. At first, we were struck by the exterior appearance of the car. It is a sharp-looking automobile. Different from the other sedans on the market, we find the design to stand out. Then we drove it and really liked the handling of the vehicle and how much more responsive it was than any of the SUV/Crossovers we had driven. That test drive convinced us that we wanted to stay with a vehicle that we enjoyed driving so we bought the 2021 Sonata. Love the care. The handling is smooth, responsive, quick when needed, and comfortable. Overall, it's fun to drive and looks great. Wish that Hyundai had put a tray in the deep storage compartment between the front seats - just dumb not to - and wish the glove box were a bit bigger, but those are minor annoyances that the rest of the car makes up for.
