Paint issues

When I bought this car, there were issues with missing paint on the trunk area. The dealer repainted the affected areas. However, I feel there may have been more issues with the paint application that were not immediately recognizable. The hood of my 2 year old car is peppered with little paint chips that are now exposing primer. I do not believe this to be normal wear and tear. My 2009 Corolla (which I bought used) and sold when I purchased my Sonata had way fewer paint chips. When your car doesn't look good on the outside, it doesn't matter that the inside looks fantastic.

Hyundai Sonata is a superior sedan.

Hyundai constantly raises the bar for comfort, convenience, reliability and performance. This is my fourth Sonata since I bought my first one in 2008. Hyundai manufactures a superior vehicle. Two members of my family also own Sonatas.

Nice but lost features

Last year‘s model had more features that were removed from this year‘s model. No vents in the back console. No accessory ports in the back console. Smaller gas tank. Manual gas tank flip door. Lost one electric receptacle in the front console as well as the charging plate

Affordable performance and luxury.

The 2023 Hyundai Sonata N Line has been a dependable vehicle. I purchased it hoping the extra R&D and performance components would reinforce the reliability of the vehicle. So far, 50k miles later I can say that my gamble has paid off. Granted I am obsessive with maintained and always use quality oil and components. My only complaint so far is the OEM rotors on the front. They are cheap, and warped under stress. I replaced them myself. I hope going into 100k miles the reliability of this vehicle continues to meet expectations, time will tell.

Major disappointment

This is the third Hyundai vehicle I have purchased, and I’ve noticed a concerning trend: while prices continue to rise, the overall quality appears to be declining. Despite this model being a top-of-the-line limited edition, it has experienced several technical issues. Firstly, when I purchased the vehicle, it featured wireless Apple CarPlay. However, following a recent update, this functionality was removed. I initially assumed it could be restored, but two dealerships confirmed that many customers have reported the same issue. Secondly, the vehicle frequently triggers false proximity alerts, accompanied by persistent beeping, even when there is nothing nearby. This issue has become increasingly disruptive. I hope these concerns can be addressed appropriately.

Fun but flawed

This is a very handsome vehicle, fun to drive and luxurious in feel and functionality. Unfortunately, we don't drive it for commute or long distances so the battery needs frequent external recharging. Also there is more road noise than I would prefer.

Riding on a Cloud

I was considering the purchase of a Hyundai and a luxury automobile. I am glad a went with the Hyundai. The styling is very modern and classy. I like the color very much, metallic dark gray. Although there are a lot of cars carrying a variety of grays, I think the metallic dark gray makes the car very distinguished. The interior features allow for individual options, which is very good for a short person. AND I love, love, love the fact that there are cameras that provide vision all around the car.
