Sonata 2023 meh

Just average car right now and I can not reccomend it or anything about it. The car still smells and it is a little embarrassing that the car has been in two weeks of service in the first month. O avoid questions about the car. Looks nice. My ex wife looked nice too.

Great commuter car with lots of features.

The sonata Limited is stylish, comfortable, fuel efficient, and packed with tech. I like the way this car drives and it gets good gas mileage. I really like the parking assist feature, which allows you to drive the vehicle backward and forward remotely. My biggest complaints are the lack of wireless Apple Car Play, and my particular car's seat randomly moves forward while I'm driving. That's not safe. I hope it's isolated to my car and I will get it checked out.

Disappointed in new Sonata

After having a new 2021 Sonata I figured the 2023 would basically be the same. Guess I was wrong. I'd take my old car back anyday over buying this one again. The road noise is much higher, the ride doesn't seem as smooth and the infotainment system is actually more difficult to use than the previous version.

Hyundai sonata 2023

Good car but nothing special. very sensitive break and poor transmission speed in manual mode. Makes driving feel mundane . I do not like the button shifters even after month and half i keep messing the drive and reverse doing quick turns . which could cause minor accidents in parking lots.

would like to know if my problem with this new car is expected to continue I am very uncomfortable not knowing when it shoud happen again

I owned two sonatas in the past and was very satisfied so when my 2015 sonata was stolen right before christmas 0f 2022 I went right to the dealer I used before and the same sales man I truly trusted . Took home my 2023 Sonata on Dec 28 I had to get used to the new tec no keys push button had no choice was not happy this time around at the dealership in 3 mo had a problem with the car starting

Electronics are very quirky

Missing some common sense items as a open button in the trunk, no spare tire, electronics are very quirky and don’t work, bought this vehicle for all the bells and whistles but frustrating that they don’t work on a brand new car

The mostly good review

I was happy with my car until its first repair. two days to get the car to Dealer. after waiting two days I called Service and they tell me only 8 cars ahead of me. I called Service after a week and was told that it cold be 3 weeks before they can get to my Car.

Not worth the money

Average car. Nothing to write home about. Sport mode is fun. I am 60 years old and know how to drive a car. All the safety features are unnecessary for me. In fact, they can be dangerous on the freeway. Slowing down for a merging car that darts in front of you can create a rear end crash of the car behind me. Lane assist is not my cup of tea either. I fight my own car. There is no need to be direct center of lane. When a car is close on the right I will ease over a bit to the left in my lane. I don't drive with my eyes closed.

you want to dam many answers that mean nothing at all to the car that I have now. I have leased five of you cars and all of them have had all kinds on trouble with the navigation systems. Teach your dealers how to fix them

Good Car but seems like a downgrade from my trade-in

Car is brand new and already showing signs of small problems with stock materials. Computer seems to randomly bug out while the lane keep feature is active. Gas MPG seems to be less than the 2018 Sonata. AC fan makes a loud sound while spinning at lower speeds which makes no sense. Multiple recalls have been reported online but for some reason their is no Open Recall.

good car, but too stripped down

Trip computer said I got 40+ mpg several times. Fill up and some math said 35mpg. When you have fancy cruise control, why not a compass? With lane keeping assistance, why not a radio that can use XM? Overall, seems like a pretty good car, but a little extra would make it excellent.

Car gets me from A to B but was not technically what I wanted or was looking for. My ex-husband more or less forced me into this purchase against my wishes which is of no fault of the vehicle itself and my review does not reflect that. I think for a new vehicle it is average but nothing really pops out to me as over the top or substantially better than other new vehicles on the market except the dealership staff was great and the purchase experience was exceptional.

2023 Hyundai Sonata

I bought this car exactly a year ago, and I was so excited and truthfully really enjoyed it. Maybe only 4/6 months in my car broke down. It was not driveable and it took almost a week for them to get around to fixing my car. That’s okay, expect I was not allowed a rental car because I’m only 19. I have to get to work, you sold me a brand new car, but cannot give me a rental car when my NEW car broke down? Not only did it break down, but in the last month I noticed that occasionally my control panel on the driver side window will quit working. The lights will turn off and you cannot roll any windows down or up, and you cannot lock or unlock the car from that door. Frankly, it’s really disappointing and I wish I got a different car.

Basic transportation. If you just need a vehicle to drive for a few years till warranty is about up that is affordable, buy this car. If you have a few more dollars there are others with better quality.

Rattles is the only things that prevents a five star rating.

This car has been absolutely perfect. Comfortable. Great power. Great gas mileage. Huge trunk. Plenty of interior room. Excellent sound system. Everything. But the rattles. Oh my god the rattles. This thing rattles just looking at it funny. This thing rattles just idling sometimes. This thing rattles in my dreams. If I could lemon law a car for rattles it would have been gone a long time ago.

Disappointed with the issue I had within the first year.

Overall performance is good; however, I had a terrible experience when the car broke down within the first year if my lease. It was a frightening experience with my grandchildren in the car. The car was fixed since then and had been working fine.

Beautiful car

I love this car! I’m currently leasing and not sure yet if i will give it up! Over all excellent car!! It’s very comfortable and very acceptable room wise! I went from an SUV to this and i couldn’t have made a better choice!
