Good Car, Terrible Fuel Economy

I simply enjoy everything about this car. However the biggest gripe I have is the amount of gas I lose. I rarely travel the most I use my car is to work and back and my job is less than 10 miles away. Every time I get gas I lose about 3-5 miles in gas as soon as I leave the gas station. I work from home a lot and I still have to fill up my tank every 4-5 days.

Nice car. Very spacious for a "sedan" sized vehicle.

I really enjoy driving this car. It's sleek design is top tier. The price of cars is just really astronomical now.

Fun to drive

I enjoy driving my Sonata. I have enjoyed driving a Sonata for the last number of years. It handles well. It is the right size for me. Although, I will admit I occasionally reach for the key when I stop driving.

Excellent car, fun to drive!

Previous to test driving multiple cars and SUVs, I was not too impressed with other manufacturers. The Sonata SEL Sport is very nice for the money paid. It gets pretty good gas mileage for an ICE only vehicle. Is pretty comfortable for long trips.

Love my Sonata

We have had lots of ice and snow and it handles like an elegant snow plow! I get complements on its looks wherever I go! It has more leg room than my 2014 Sonata.

Beautiful the car!

I love this car. It is fun to drive and has some really amazing perks; the adaptive cruise cruise control is probably the best thing ever! The styling is really nice, I love the look.

Great, however missing features

My 2013 sonata had these features but the 2026 is missing them. No electric seat for adjustments for driver, no sunglasses holder, no seat warmer.

New sonata

This is the fourth hyundai I have purchased since 2010. All have been excellent. Current one was an emergency purchase. Engine died in last one at 195k.

Good bad

The car runs fine. Have to keep turning off rear alert for traffic while backing onto road and only cars on the opposite side of the road are there. The cruise control also has a panic whenever cars change lanes. Abit annoying.

I'm not sure what you're asking

We very much like the 2026 Sonata. One draw back is the glare on the panel...suggest tipping/angling it. Second, not able to lock the doors using the lock button on the inside of the door when exiting the vehicle. Third, the side alerts are very sensitive...they will go off when there's a vehicle 2 lanes over...scares the crap out of you! Why do you need a Tachometer when the vehicle is not stick shift? that space on the dash could be used for something else OR it could be an option
